I am an Exercise Science major with a concentration in Pre-Allied Health Sciences and a concentration in Spanish in Health Professions. I have previous background in an array of care-taking serviceS but currently I work as a CNA in Conway, SC. I love my job and the people I meet! I have always been people-oriented and that is what pushed me to peruse healthcare and I have loved my journey thus far! Also, I am CPR/AED certified and have knowledge dealing with an array of cognitive and other medical disorders.

Hello, my name is Velvet Graham, I am a graduate student pursuing my master's degree in education. I believe that hard work, dedication, and faith, are the three main ingredients to a prosperous future.

I have been a caregiver for more than 20 years for children and 12years for adults. I am a that enjoys helping people and respect all. Being a caregiver is something I take serious I guess that's why I see it more as a gift than a job. I love to help people and hopeful in my future help to heal people naturally one person at a time. I am a wife and a mother of two boys (13 & 5). I enjoy drawing, reading, traveling, spending time with family. I am a student and enjoy to learn. Something I am proud of is when I cured myself of type 2 diabetes when I was told that I would have it forever.

I am a wife and a mother of two wonderful children. I worked for over 20 years in Social Services, which included working with individuals with disabilities, victims of abuse and neglect as well as elderly individuals. I spend my free time with my family, at the ball field or at church.

I recently became a CNA and have been working in a nursing home. It's my first job in the medical field and I have loved it so far and am considering going to nursing school.

Hi I just moved to california for graduate school in Physical Therapy. I have worked in many different settings one including a nursing home. As a rehab aide there it was almost like being a caregiver. I would help the CNAs, nurses, doctors, and therapist. I would spend a lot of time with the patients, and when a therapist, doctor, nurse, or cna was busy I would do the work. I am truly passionate about helping others, and I am very understanding. I also am very caring and would make a great caregiver because I am able to listen, and understand. My grandfather has dementia, and I worked on the dementia unit at work. I know how they can get frustrated, but sometimes they just want a companion, and someone to be there for them. Before my grandfather went into a nursing home I would help him with his morning routine, cook meals, help bathe, groom, use the toilet, bring him to doctors appts, give medication and exercise. I am very good at transferring patients from wheelchairs to the toilet, vice versa, and helping them walk with a walker, another device, or no device. I am also able to fix any rehabilitation equipment such as a walker! I am on my path to an exciting career, and I will be the perfect caregiver!

I am originally from Cowpens, South Carolina but am now living in Columbia, where I will be starting a masters program in August. I have 4+ years experience as a CNA in long term, skilled, rehab and assisted living care. I love bringing joy to others lives. I also have 4 years of experience with Dementia and Alzheimer's. I treat others homes and private areas with care. I can do light house work as well and transport to appts or even run errands that you are in need for. I know that I am a great caregiver because I am compassionate, detail, and professional caregiver. I love providing assistant to others that are in need of assistance with recovery from the hospital environment to giving help with the elderly patients that are not able to do certain things for themselves and not need help in their daily living activities.
