Since I recently became an empty nester, I am excited to return to my beloved career in nursing. My peers describe me as flexible, empathetic, intelligent, quick learner, diplomatic, forward thinking, intuitive, sociable, good listener, dependable and honest. I have completed the state approved RN refresher course, and I am certain I will be an asset to helping in your home. During my time away from the field I was able to use my nursing skills voluntarily to help friends and family. - 7 yrs assisted a friend with cancer treatment: injections, MD appts, hospital stays, palliative care, family emotional support -2 yrs assisted a friend with her elderly mothers care: test preps, palliative care, emotional support - 2 friends fertility treatment: injections - Many friends and family assisted with immediate post op care

Through my experience as a nursing student, I've completed a year of clinical and have experience giving toileting, bathing, and hygiene care to patients in the hospital. I love interacting with people and helping those in need. It's a bright spot in my day to know that I'm making someone feel better. I have had the opportunity to be part of a medical team in Peru that gave care to approximately 5,000 patients in five days. My medical experience there has stretched me and inspired me to pursue a medical career and to meet the physical and emotional needs of others. I'm studying to become a nurse and would love a summer job that pertains to my medical career and experience. My experience also goes outside the hospital; I've helped my grandparents in the past who were ill and one who had cancer. I would love to have the experience of attending to those in need this summer.

I am a kind, compassionate person. Quiet in nature, sensitive to the needs of others. I'm a good listener and like to encourage people to feel good about themselves.A people pleaser would describe me, but I can be firm if the situation calls for it, but generally that would only arise for safety concerns. I think my personality would enable me to be a very good caregiver, and I have been told that by others.Thank-you!

I am in the process of receiving my Nursing degree and I have my CNA. I want to serve my community while I'm in school and gain as much experience as I can. I love the personal relationships I am able to build with the patients, and I love to serve them and make them as comfortable as possible. I love to be involved with people and create relationships that can benefit them and provide them with what they need. I plan to be a Nurse Practitioner and start my own clinic in Africa. I need as much experience as I can get.

Hi! My name is Kristy and I love working with people! I am very patient, gentle, kind, and through--which are all traits that make a great caregiver. I love doing work that has the potential to make a difference in someone's life, make someone smile, and do things that make a person's day better. I take pride in my attention to detail, and don't ever say, "that's not my job" but instead like pitching in to do whatever is needed. I spent two weeks accompanying my client to Alaska as a caregiver, and enjoyed the experience so much. It was rewarding getting to see the smile on my clients face with every experience we took her to. That is what makes the job so rewarding and look forward to working alongside another amazing client again soon!

I have always loved helping people and being a CNA is a perfect opportunity for me to combine my love for medicine and people. I have worked as both a CNA and home health aide, so I understand both the hospital and home aspects of CNA work. My favorite part of being a caregiver is being able to connect with the patients. I especially love working with the elderly and listening to all their stories and wisdom. I just graduated college with my bachelor's degree and am soo starting my masters degree online with the end goal of international health education.

I am a nursing major and love to be with and aid people. I am dedicated and desire to perform to the best of my ability. I have a huge heart for people who are struggling and want to help them feel as comfortable as possible. Because I am a nursing major, I have a through background in patient centered care and in patient interaction. I love communicating with others and enjoy getting to know people. Caregiving is unique in that it would allow me to care for someone who needs my care the most. That, in my opinion, is the most gratifying part of cargiving.
