Hi, my name's Madison. I'm currently a nursing student and am looking for an evening/overnight shift. My biggest personal achievement as a whole is actually making it into nursing school and continuing my education to become that nurse I've always wanted to be. My personality traits when being a great caregiver would have to be companionship, reliability, communication, supportive, and being trusted. I am very attentive when it comes to one's needs regardless of what I'm doing. What attracted me to be a caregiver is the idea that it's part of the healthcare industry. Since I'm in nursing school, I figured that that would be a start of the career. Interacting with others and just helping them out in general is my favorite thing about being a caregiver. The little relationship you can form with one another is so sweet.

My name is Jessica and I am currently a pre-med student taking a gap year while applying for school next fall. I've spent the last three years since graduating High School travelling and working in different states & countries to learn more about health and different cultures. Since I was in elementary school though, I have always had a passion for volunteering and serving with older people both personally and in Nursing homes. As the oldest sibling of seven kids and 3 dogs, helping out around the house (with cleaning, cooking, running errands and everything in between) I'm no stranger to hard hands-on work and love being engaged in personal development with others. I have a wide range of work experience from Vanderbilt Medical centre hospital, Girl Scouts of America, food services, cleaning, and private companies in the Nashville area. Having just gotten back from spending an extended period with my Grandmother, I want to continue learning and being of service to a family looking for an extra hand with their ageing family members. Currently, I live in Goodlettsville and am looking to stay in the mid to northeast area of town. I'm available every day except for Sundays, August 25th, October 6th, November 3rd, and December 1st - as for the Christmas holiday I may have plans to be out of town for the last 2-3 weeks of December. My preference for work would be mid-morning to afternoons but am open to discussing personalized schedules depending on needs.

I am compassionate and reliable. I have 15 years of experience as a caregiver. I have been certified ad a nurse assistant since 2003.

My dream job is to be an ER-RN and I'm currently studying nursing. I love caring for patients and providing them with excellent care. What attracts me most about being caregiver is that constant companion to let them know they are not alone. I love communicating with my patients about what my goals are and what I hope to achieve my patients aren't just patients they are my family. A personal goal I am proud of is being able to pursue my dreams even though I have a tough past I never give up. I am very up lifting and I love to smile and make others happy

I also have worked as a 24/7 on site caregiver, in a privately owned nursing home as a young adult. Skilled with Dementia and Alzheimer's patients. I first became a CNA when I was 17. The DON said I had the heart of a caregiver which cannot be taught. This has stuck with me throughout my healthcare career. I am a nurturer by nature with lots of compassion to offer. It is only fitting that I have chosen to become a nursing assistance with 12 years experience. I have completed over 100 hours of college credit towards a bachelors degree while being a single mom to 3 children, now grown.

I am very patient and have a big heart to help others that need that extra care. I was loved by a great grandmother who I in turn took care of until she passed away at home. I have a great appreciation to the elderly and love listening and learning from their very incredible lives they lived. I get great feedback from my patients and they give me love back in ways I will carry with me forever.

What helps me be a great caregiver is my experience. I have cared for my elderly grandmother for years up until just passing away. I helped her take her medication, I took her to stores and provided transportation. I helped with housekeeping around the house and cooked for her. What attracts me to care giving is the sense of giving back to the community. I love to give back and help people. It's such a wonderful feeling and gives me joy to know that I can help someone in a positive way
