I am patient and love making people smile. Hearing people stories about their lifetime and just brightening up people's days attracting me to be a caregiver. My personal achievement is making it to college.

One of the things I enjoy is giving extra assistance.

I have been a caregiver on and off for 20 years. I have completed 3 semesters of nursing school at the Bachelor's level, but was unable to complete my BSN due to a family illness. So, I had to care for my own family member as well. I have experience with all basic nursing skills, including ADLs, taking vital signs, medication administration, wound care, ostomy, diabetic care, Alzheimer's care, and end of life. I am experienced with bathing, dressing, shaving, cooking, cleaning, and house management.

Health care is my passion

December of 2015, Alzheimer's disease took my great-grandmother away from me. She was my best friend and taught me how to be hers. I provided care, prepared meals, and assisted her, as well as other elders ,with the activities of daily living. What I love most about the opportunity is the knowledge that the elderly love to share about their life and experience. The love and appreciation received from them is special as well, they always seem so grateful to have someone loveable around. I love having the chance to take their mind off of reality, to make them not feel so sick anymore.

Hello! I really enjoy helping others with their daily routine that shouldn't require doing it alone! I am a great helper with a gentle spirit. I am also vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus, and can show proof.

I am a caregiver currently because an elderly couple that I have known for years asked if I would help them. I help them with food preparation, personal hygiene, communication with friends or vendors, and house cleaning. They say they appreciate my willingness for any task abd they ability to know what they need.

I am a student at Middle Tennessee State University. I work full time at Adams Place Nursing home. I am looking for work for the summer while in Memphis.

I'm 47 years old and a marine corps veteran. I moved back to my home state of West Virginia in 2016 and have been working for myself. What I like about caregiving is the personal satisfaction and smile I receive from the people I make happy.

Growing up, I've always wanted to go into the medical field because it felt like a way that I could serve others in a time when people may be very vulnerable. My mother went through brain cancer and being able to experience that journey with so many medical professionals has definitely inspired me to want to walk with others in what may be the most difficult times of their lives. I've volunteered with a hospice organization for a couple of years and have really loved being able to provide a different kind of company to the patients. Being able to know them in whatever state they're in in that moment is really special to me. As a volunteer, there were definitely limits to what I could do for the patient and it inspired me to go further to be able to help more. I recently became a certified nursing aide and hope to be able to use that in order to serve the patients more. It's truly a gift to be able to walk with patients and families through hard health times and I'm excited to hopefully get more chances to do that!

I have had a passion to work with those in need since I can remember. I am able to relate and help them feel like the important individuals that they are. I make it a point to allow them to be as independent as possible while assisting as needed. I enjoy seeing an inner joy in those that have been struggling with the challenges of dementia and/or Alzheimer's when they are reminded and treated with respect.

I am a very compassionate and caring individual with desire to meet the needs of the client that I am serving.

I am 22 years old and I am a senior studying Biology. I love to help and I really love to cook. I have been here in the states for over 12 years and I am originally from Senegal west Africa. I am multilingual (English, French, and Wolof my native language from Senegal) I like being a caregiver because it is a very flexible schedule. Also it's my favorite job that I have ever worked. Often times we are given rules of what is expected and most times I do more than just that

Hi! I have a passion for working with the elderly because each person has unique characteristics to learn. I enjoy assisting each person any way I can and spreading my positive attitude. My favorite part of caregiving is providing companionship. My strengths are great customer service, strong work ethic, ( on time, alert for time off, complete all work) and professional. I have experience working with persons with dementia, cancer, and depression. I know how to take vitals. I am currently persuing my Associate's degree in Medical Assisting. One wow fact about myself is that I have developed three community programs one of which is called Lost, But God Found. Hi, My name is Leah Hyatt. I live in Bradyville, Tennessee. I enjoying being outdoors, talking, cooking, and playing with my little boy. I am always on time and am very helpful. I have previous experience caregiving for my grandparents, one having Alzheimers. I cooked for this grandparent, gave them take their medicine on time, groomed, and bathed them. I also did a lot of lifting of them and helped drive them to their appointments. I love helping elderly and talking to them and listening to their stories.
