Since I was a young girl, whether it be for my loved ones or the underprivileged, I have always had an innate concern for those in need. My inherent compassion for the livelihood challenges of others has developmentally led me to pursue an educational life-long career as a guidance counselor and health-care provider. What I have learned in my experience, when caring for any individual, is that each person's needs are distinct and should not be identified as like any other individual. When an individual is challenged in any capacity, demonstrating you care in getting to know them as a person, their strengths and limitations with personable kindness, compassion, and patience, can make all the difference to the individual and the family members who depend on you as an extension of themselves. Sometimes a simple smile can make a person feel more relaxed and willing to work with you as a caregiver to aid them with their inability of managing their own lives on their own. As a professional counselor and caregiver, what gratifies me the most about helping an individual is being a part of improving their quality of life for their overall well-being; mind, body, and spirit

I am a Sociology and Psychology major who is able to smoothly handle any task. I am also bilingual in Vietnamese and English. I am communicative, patient, and dependable. When dealing with the elderly, it is important for me to be patient and dependable because their wellbeing depends on my presence and my ability to handle stressful situations. I was employed at Crestview Retirement Community where I worked with our doctors, nurses, and caregivers to provide the utmost care for our residents. The relationships and connections I have made at Crestview Retirement Community allowed me to have a more positive view of life and their advices have helped me choose a career path. I enjoy working with others and enjoy jobs that allow one-on-one interactions. Helping others is what I enjoy doing the most! My past occupations, such as academic tutoring, babysitting, and personal care, all consist of helping and improving others! One of the most significant achievements that I am proud of is being able to apply psychological and sociological concepts to help others deal with internal and external problems. Many friends and some residents have come to me for help on their relationship issues or personal issues. I am always more than happy to help them find a logical solution!

I've been an LVN for about 6 years now and I just received my RN license in December of 2020, but caring for and about others has been a lifetime goal. I'm a true believer of the Golden Rule: treat others the way you want to be treated. Caring for others, especially in times of vulnerability and great need, is my greatest passion. As a caregiver, I hope to gain valuable experience that will make me a better nurse as I pursue my second Bachelors degree.

I understand the importance of having a good support network for seniors. My father-in-law required lots of help before he passed away. My father just turned 92 and I take care of his needs along with my sister. It's very important to help those who need it when in their senior years. I enjoy knowing that I've improved someone's day. I'm proud of fact that am a US Army Veteran and still an Inactive Reserve Major. I'm also proud of the fact that I was published because of my expertise in Electronics Assembly Manufacturing.

My name is Deanne. I have been a teacher for 24 years, specializing in biology and anatomy and physiology. I like to cook. I am very knowlegable about medications and interactions of medications. I am currently working on my pharmacy technician certification while I continue teaching. I enjoy talking to people and learning about their lives. I am a very safe driver and have no vehicular accidents or criminal record. I have hit two deer but that is just part of living in the country. I like animals.

I have accumulated experience in the health care field as a Certified Nursing Assistant, Medical Scribe, Infirmary Staff, and a Lifeguard while also acquiring hours shadowing medical professionals. I am currently a student at Texas A&M University and will be graduating in December 2018, and attending nursing school in January 2019. Although I do not have any professional experience in a workplace, I have cared for family members who have been ill or injured many times. I am a trustworthy and reliable individual with a passion for health care. I particularly find my biggest passion with the elderly and the youth and cannot wait to become a RN to assist those individuals one day. Ever since I was a little girl, I have always loved to take care of those around me and since then, I have never stop. I love getting to know those who are ill ad injured and more about their life. Hello! My name is Tonna. I am currently finishing up my last semester of nursing school and set to graduate with my BSN in December from Texas Tech University. I am interested in being a part-time caregiver for your loved one while I finish nursing school, and even after I start my nursing job in February. I have been working in healthcare for the past 2 years, and have been a child and adult sitter since I was 14. I am CNA, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certified, and will soon have my RN license. My passion is caring for others. I worked as a CNA at a skilled nursing facility for about 7 months before relocating for nursing school. It was by far my favorite job. Being able to provide care to the elderly, hear their life experiences, show them compassion, and just be a hand to hold is a rewarding experience that I wouldn't trade for anything. I have loved every minute of being a senior caregiver! I am very kind, honest and understanding. I aim to be a friend and companion to any person under my care! I have worked at an Assisted Living Facility for a year now so I have experience with many different situations involving elderly patients!

I first worked as a part time caregiver in College Station, TX while attending Texas A&M. I worked with a family of 5 daughters, tutoring, babysitting, and light housekeeping. I also worked through an agency as a home healthcare giver for seniors. I provided care for a senior with a spinal cord injury for 8 years and a family of three girls for 6 years. I currently work as a youth advocate and mentor in Colorado.
