I have also taken care of my Grandmother, and both of my best friends parents. I have always been a nuturer with a good attitude, and smile for everyone. I am very responsible, and always up for a challenge! I was also a hairdresser for 15 years, so I can cut & style your loved ones hair when needed. I have been around special health needs my whole life. My mother became a diabetic when I was 5 and legally blind when I was 14. My middle child had 2 strokes at 1 year old and diagnosed with Spina Bifida. He has also became epileptic in 2017 I am comfortable with giving shots, fixing medication, light wound care and dressing changes. I can give rescue medication as needed. I will do bowel/bladder programs with out batting an eye. I feel that being raised by a mother that became blind early on in my adolescents and having a child with extensive "extra" needs I truly understand the importance of giving people dignity and choice when dealing with extraordinary health issues. I started working with a woman in late June and I found my purpose. She truly showed me my path and passion. For that I will forever be grateful to her. She sadly passed away earlier this month.
