I am passionate about being a Caregiver because I enjoy helping others in their daily tasks to make their day easier. What is rewarding is to see every individual smile and to see them happy for their accomplishments in their daily lives. Always have a positive mind and help motivate with their daily tasks. I like to learn new things and a fast learner. Am experienced with different types of Care.

What makes me a great caregiver is I treat your loved ones like they're my own. I can assist with everything from bathing and grooming to transportation. I can also just be someone they can talk to and visit with. I have experience with dementia and Alzheimer's patients, children with disabilities, and ostomy care.

What I enjoy the most about being a caregiver is the fact the I can help someone in their time of need. My grandmother and my sister is what lead me to the passion of becoming a Certified Nurse Aide. I enjoy seeing the smiles and warm looks on my patient's face as I do my job with pride and dignity. I feel good about myself knowing that I have done some good in the world of helping someone in need. I love the servant leadership that I provide within the community. With this passion I am continuing my educational journey to becoming a Physician Assistance

Growing up in a family with an medical professional (my mom)I surely made up my mind that one day I would become a nurse. After watching my mom take care and aid the sick in her home, I knew I wanted to become more hands-on with patients. While still in high school, I helped my mother aid to the sick in our home, I helped with little jobs as needed around the house. Being surrounded on a daily basis by this kind of environment is what made me want to become a caregiver. After high school I attend the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff to become a RN. Although at the time my dream fell throw my fingers due to a car accident years down the line, a job fell into my lap at a home care/housing facility where I assisted the elderly in their home. I must say working there was very inspirational; not only did it open my eyes to the world, but it gave me the opportunity to help those who couldn't help themselves. This is what prompted me to further my education in caregiving by attending CNA school. I became a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) and started working at a nursing home/rehabilitation center. I quickly learned that CNA job are different - but it challenged me to push myself harder and give 100% at all times. Now, I'm in school (lose CNA due to not renewing them because of school and can show them) to become an LVN I'm starting to see myself finally reaching my goal and help those in need. But as of now, being a caregiver is such an honor - it's all about putting away your needs to assist others. Knowing that a smile on your face can bring joy and happiness to someone else is priceless. The moments when you can reflect back and see how you have helped someone is what caregiving is all about.

I'm a outstanding , loving and caring Nurse and I have been in the Health care field for 11 years and a Nurse going on 4 years. I started out as a caregiver then I went to school for CNA ,Medication aide and Nursing school I am a LVN. I go above and beyond for any patient/residents I have been responsible for. It makes me feel good to know I have helped someone who needs help even if it's simply getting a cup of ice water. Although I am a nurse I would still love to do one on one care for a patient.A personal achievement that I am proud of is completing nursing school!

I'm a very compassionate person who believes our patients should be treated like we would want our family members taken care of. I came into this field because I love to help people. My future plans I plan on becoming a Registered nurse. I believe I can offer the care someone needs. I don't mind being the ear just to listen when someone needs to talk.

As a caregiver, I have learned to be patient, listen to their needs and wants, speak softly and clearly, pamper to them. While I was in medical assisting classes, I had a family friend needing care. She was an retired nurse and allowed me to come learn a lot from her. I loved going grocery shopping, getting hair and nails done, I would prepare her medications for the month and make sure she took them on time each day, cleaned her house, and rearranged her furniture and clothes.

I am an energetic outgoing individual. I have been in the health care business for about 12 years now. I have worked at Baylor Scott and white in the emergency department as a patient care technician, in a nursing home as a caregiver and now I am doing home heath with I've been doing for 2 years now. I love taking care of my patient and that started off when I was helping my mom take care of my grandmother when she passed away in high school and from that moment I knew whata I wanted to do with my life.

I became a caregiver to show my compassion for others. Everybody needs someone they can count on when they need a little extra help. Someone has always taken care of me and shown me how to be there for others.
