I love to be a caregiver because I love working with people I first became a caregiver when my mama had a stroke I took care of my mom I told her how to talk again how to feed herself how to dress herself how to walk Drive and basically take care of herself I'm very outgoing Dependable reliable always on time very honest and I just love being around people I love meeting new people I think I'm a wonderful caregiver because of the experience that I have 13 years and the different experience that I have working with different people has taught me more then what I already know

Looking back now as a child growing up , Grand Mother passed when I was an infant so missed that precious connection . So as a young child was always seeking out the elderly and assisting those in need . Would enjoy sharing in activity of planting flowers or running errands or house keeping , Always been very Compassionate and truely enjoying the company and friendships made along the way . I am a Certified CNA With Over 20 yrs Experience . Have many great referances . I have worked in Nursing homes , Hospice and Home health care agencys and Private care . I have truely enjoyed the friendships made and working with the most loving wonderful famiies .

My personality towards the people I take care towards them is I want to make them feel cared for . I love to hear them talk about their old days and what they use to do in their life. The most attracted thing I love about being a care giver is that I get to know people that you would never think saw the world before you ever existed. I enjoy everything about being a care giver form walks to helping them do exercise to watching old T.V. shows . My personal achievement that I am very proud of is raising my kids alone. It is very hard raising 5 kids but I managed to have three boys graduate and i have my last 2 in high school.

I became a Caregiver because I care for people and want to help them. I saw the need of caregivers when my parents became older. They were independent but still needed some additional care which I was able to give them. Because of this I decided to pursue a career in Caregiving. I have been a Caregiver over 5 years now and have met many nice people and have had the pleasure of taking care of them. I love being a Caregiver because I feel like I am helping someone. This help may be as little as sitting and listening to them or cooking, sorting their meds, etc. Just helping them through their day! I feel I go above and beyond the call of duty. I am very dependable and trustworthy. People always tell me I have such a happy disposition and it's true. I wake up in the morning with a smile on my face ready for the day. The clients I have and have had say I bring joy to their home and appreciate my work ethic. A little something about me: I was born and raised in the Houston area. I have two grown daughters and two grandsons that I am very close to. My dad passed away in March 2013 but I still have my mom and a sister. We all enjoy having family time. I love teapots and have a collection of them. I LOVE to cook and it is my passion. I get compliments all the time and am always trying new recipes. I would love to be able to take care of your loved ones and look forward to hearing from you.

I love taking care of others. I come from a large family, and have always been a person to care for my younger brothers. My mom became ill when I was just a little girl. and was to help her. And so I made a promise that i would be the only one take care of her as she gotten older. She's now 68 and I'm still there.
