I make sure I take the time out to understand my residence needs make sure I understand that care plan so that I'm able to give them the best care possible I've always had a passion to take care of people it's just what I'm drawn to in life the glow that shows on their face when I walk in the room is the highlight of my day it makes my heart melt and to know that I'm doing a great job as well to know that I was able to make a difference and to see a change in my residence life and to know that they feel safe when I am around

I became a caregiver because of my passion and family history. As a child, my mother and several family members did home health. That was when I decided that I enjoy the company of the elderly. I love to help them and hear about their life history because they are a lot wiser. Since I started being a caregiver a total of 16 years from working and helping family and friends. It made me more mature and my passion is a lot stronger. As long as I can, keep them happy and enjoying the rest of their years. I know that I did what God put me here for on earth to do.

I began my career in retail , but a few months ago, I was drawn to the healthcare space. I've always been skilled at bringing people together and working towards common goals. Before working in the healthcare environment , I worked in retail as a floor associate for a little over two years . I've been a CNA for 12 years. I love my patients being a caregiver brings me a extra amount of happiness. To be able to put a smile on a man/woman/child's face after providing care or even being a listening ear when they need it is such a overwhelming feeling.
