What makes me a good caregiver is the experience ive gotten thru the clients themselves have worked with mentally challenged, disabilities, and dementia. Currently working at a facility with elders who suffer with Alzheimers and Dementia. I've also worked as a medication aid and have my CNA license

I became a c.n.a after i take care of my grandfather. I like to be a c.n.a because i can help anybody,specially olders. My personal achievement that i am very proud of me is that comminment i have towars people. Care so much about them. I am very honest person.

Hi there! My name is Lori, short for Lorena. Im a dependable, caring, loving, hardworking caregiver. Having a passion to be a caregiver means the world me. Having to help people in need makes me feel wonderful. I can't imagine my life without helping one another. It all started when I was in 4th grade knowing that one of my friends needed help with school work and keeping his desk tidy. I was one of the few students who would voulenteer in helping any student out. Growing up made me realize that I have a passion for helping others out. This is what attracted me to become a caregiver as I grew older. I enjoy companionship the most when it comes to being a caregiver. I rememeber how one of my clients was loosing his ability to walk due to dementia and how I would have him by my side helping him to walk back and forth in his living room as I had a wheelchair behind him incase he need to rest. I would also give him some leg excersise to help him keep his stregenth so that he would continue to walk. This is one of my personal achievement that I am proud of. I am always willing to go the extra mile for my clients.

What makes me an excellent caregiver is being compassionate to taking care of the elderly, I'm understanding, patient, hardworking, and punctual. The person that attracted me to being a caregiver was my grandma I enjoyed helping her and just being there for her. My personal achievement will always be me being there for my grandma helping her with anything she needed she suffered from cancer and wasn't able to do stuff on her own and I put my all in trying to help her and make her feel well, comfortable and loved until she departed, and I would like to help other elders with their needs and companionship.
