As a caregiver, my nurturing nature and patience are my strongest personality traits. I've always been drawn to caregiving because I find fulfillment in helping others and making a positive impact on their lives. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is forming meaningful connections with those I care for and being able to provide them with comfort and support. One personal achievement I'm proud of is successfully helping a client regain their independence after a challenging recovery process, knowing that I played a part in their journey towards wellness.

What I Enjoy Most About Being A Caregiver Is Brightening Their Days .

My name is Shelly white and what makes me a good caregiver is that I'm a compassionate and caring person you will know that right away once you meet me also I've been doing this kind of work since I was 17 straight out of high school I used to work for Bayada it started as a candy stripe girl so I move from home care to hospice care and once I started doing hospice care I knew that this was my calling I fit right in and l worked well ... the reward was to know how comfortable and safe I made the client and the last days I've built a nice clientele for myself my reference and my experience will speak for it self.....

I was brought up to always take care of family and those that need help. It helps me to do Gods work to help those less fortunate, and to able to help others life to be a little easier. I went to school and received my CNA certification, I worked and retired after 35yrs of service on my job helped and trained people for the job. Put my two children throughout college, love and service God, married 21yrs. On Sunday i go to church. Tuesdays at my moms church i help cook and feed the people at the cafe (soup kitchen) we feed about 125 to 150 people we give out food and clothes. Wednesday I help at my sister church i cook and feed the people at the cafe (soup kitchen) we feed about 40 to 50 people also give out food and clothes. Once a month i go downtown and feed the people on Saturday with friends. My church feeds the people twice a month i try and help then also they feed 500 people. I watch out for my senior neighbors when i cook out or have a party i will take them a plate of food. I love to travel.

I worked as a CNA when i was younger in 2 different nursing homes. I enjoyed taking care of the elderly. I also took care of my grandpsrents dailey and my husband's grandmother until they passed.
