I am a mature, friendly, intelligent and fun woman. I have been a caregiver to different family members and lastly to my own mother. She passed away in 2008 from Alzheimer's and liver cancer. I provided much of the care as my mother was a private person. It was rewarding and I learned alot with the AD support group. I am retired from a career as a health plan worker and would now like to help those in need of companionship, health plan knowledge for appointment setting, rides to appointments and other chores that they may need. I spent as much time as possible after retirement, at the nursing home where my aunt was living. I spoke of family history, showed her pictures, played her favorite music and took her out to the garden area. She loved flowers. There are many elderly who are in need of companionship and I am available to provide that.

I enjoy the satisfaction of knowing I can make a difference in the well being of a patience overall health one person at a time :D

During my military career, I helped people every day. I would like to continue helping people by becoming a caregiver for you/your family member. Our elderly population is important to me, so I would love to provide the needed companionship or help with daily activities.

I went to nursing school in 2014. I have my degree in Science (AAS), and was working in a nursing home as a nurse assistant for 3 years. I really enjoyed with my elderly residents and taking care of their needs. In 2021, I started working for Carelinx and I've really enjoyed helping and meeting new people. I'm currently working to get my bachelor's as a geriatric nurse. One day, I hope to work in a nursing home to help my residents.

I want to assist people and give back to community. Since I'm going into the medical Field I want more hands on experience.

I'm 55, I enjoy taking care of people, I took care of my boyfriend for six years before he passed away. I want to help care for others in need, I'm very polite and patient. I worked for East Central I.S.D. for 18 years as a teacher's aide and special ed assistant. I give 100 percent when I work at anything and I'm very compassionate when it comes to the care of someone's love one.

What would make me be a great caregiver is that I have personal experience dealing with closed family members who needed help. My ex husband suffer an accident in 2015, he became a vegetable after his accident and had to care for him 24/7 until he passed away in 2016. I would like to be a caregiver because I can relate to what the family is going through in caring for a love one. I enjoy connecting with patients and their families and being able to help in anyway I can. My personal achievement has also been able to care for kids with disability like depression, anxiety, autism and ADHA.

Here are my traits that make me a great caregiver: Empathy and compassion. Working with people in a home care setting, it is essential that a caregiver feel the desire to want to help. By showing both empathy and compassion caregivers will let the person they are caring for know that they care about the person and want to do what they can to help them. Patience. When you work with someone who needs home care it is important that you are patient and understanding. It helps to sometimes put yourself in the other person's shoes and see what it might be like to ask people for help. Reliable. A great caregiver is someone that can be counted on to be there. If the caregiver says he or she is going to be there to provide home care every Thursday morning, then the caregiver shows up, unless there is an emergency. Those needing home care services need a reliable and dependable caregiver. Trustworthy. Most people who need home care services are in a vulnerable position. They are inviting someone into their home to be near their valuables. A good caregiver is someone who is trustworthy in this regard, as well as in being trusted to keep the client's information confidential. Flexible. As with most things in life, home care needs may change and unexpected events can happen. A good caregiver will be prepared to go with the flow, being flexible, so that they continue to provide good home care, even if a rigid schedule isn't being followed. I naturally have an urge to help others. I always place a priority on helping others. I want to make the world a better place and do it with one home care patient at a time. Being a good home caregiver is in my heart and knowing I'm helping a patient get better and feel comfortable. I have the qualifications thats needed for all my patients needs. Sincerely , Debra L. Raised by both sets of grandparents I consider myself an old soul with tons of respect class and heart, I am extremely aware of others needs almost as I feel what they feel (Overly empathetic) live to serve, aim to please, dedicated, determined. I was born to heal & care for others not many can handle the emotional part of being ill but I find deep satisfaction in helping and knowing I changed someone's life and helped there loved ones get through this part of life. I've never met anyone who doesn't love & trust me. No children not married so I'm am very reliable, flexible & willing. I'm an ALS specialty Caregiver, Alzheimer's Whisperer, but have dealt with all and many different cases for the past 18 years

I am caring and patient-focused meaning my patients are my main priority. I am also a very patient person in general. My motivation starts with my mother who has been a home health care provider as long as I can remember and I just love to give a hand or two who those who really need it.

I'm Frankie Doria, Im 22 years old, I currently moved back to San Antonio and I'm looking for a caregiving job. I'm a very outgoing person who loves to help people. I first got introduced to caregiving this summer by my Stepmother. I needed a job and immediately I liked the way it made me feel, I felt good helping someone who didn't have anyone to care for them or who is incapable of helping themselves. I really enjoy the stories people have, the connection you build with these amazing people, this kind of job is very personal to me and I'd like to continue working in this field. This job helped me see this career from a different perspective. My own personal achievement would be compassion for others, this job isn't for everyone and it can be very exhausting. I hope that I am considered for this job.

Hello, my name is Annette I am a proud mom of five amazing children I have had the privilege to be a stay-at-home mom for the last 11 years but during this time I decided to go to cosmetology school for 2 years part-time while my kids attended school. I then became self-employed due to caring for my children and my father who became ill in 2019 I cared for him and was his caretaker up until November 2020 when he passed. I was then introduced to a family who was looking for a private caregiver in September of 2021 and I assisted her while in hospice until her passing in November 2021. Having experienced this line of work I came to a realization of how much of a need there is in this industry to help our elderly in their time of need and how meaningful this role is. I feel I'm a great fit with my compassion and my empathy as a mom and having lost a parent I've been blessed to have this quality instilled in me and I am confident I can care for your loved one and be an assistant to your family during this time.

what makes me a great caregiver is that fact that i have patience and empathy for my residents. I take the time to listen and learn their ways so they feel comfortable and less of a burden, let them know they are cared for and important. I became a caregiver to help the elderly a chance to reside in their own home and feel safe because majority of elderly fear nursing homes. what i love about being a caregiver is getting to know different people and seeing all different kinds of environments. I love listening to stories and giving companionship to people who may not have many visitors. my personal achievement is that i gain new family and the fact that the families trust me. It lets me know that i did my job to the best of my abilities. And that they will go out there way to recommend me to other families in need.

Being a caregiver is very close to my heart. When I was younger my great- grandmother's rapidly declined and I was all she had. Helping her with even the simplest of tasks made her quality of living better. Knowing that I am capable of helping others in the way I helped her movtivates me everyday.

I became a CNA straight out of Judson High School at 18 years old. I decided to get my CNA certification, because I felt comfortable already doing the work. I was a caregiver for my grandmother before she passed away from cancer. I now greatly enjoy connecting with the residents and making their lives easier as well as happier. I am always looking to learn new things and help make the world a better place ; one little step at a time.

Being a caregiver has been a great experience. I am a caregiver for an Alzheimer's Dementia facility. I love taking care of others. I am a caring and patient person. These are needed most when being a caregiver.
