I've been a caregiver for almost 20 years servicing those with different needs and disabilities. Im CPR Certified yearly since 2012.

I like taking care of the elderly. It feels good to do something good for some one. It's a great feeling when you can help and bring a little joy to someone.

As a provider of in home care for several members of my family, I understand the complications and underlying issues related to those who live with and cater to those who are regulated by medication for multiple illnesses. I have witnessed events occur to clients on multiple levels, from self inflicted to prescription derived as well as diet related. I am not afraid of any challenge and find that most of the people I have dealt with regarding their health concerns enjoy my direct, realistic and honest approach. At one time, I helped maintain a non-ambulatory wing including 12 clients ranging from dementia/Alzheimer to amputees and parkinsons, while arrangeing the meal for everyone, the cook and I were brought face to face with a choking victim. Out of 5 personnel available, she and I were the only ones stable minded and able bodied enough to deliver the Heimlich maneuver. We both saved the life of the client an were mentioned in the local paper by the family. Although a wonderful action on it's own-the saving of one's life-we were there to provide a service to maintain the health of the clients, to which we took very seriously. In our position, there was zero tolerances for delay. The attraction has always presented itself through the years as a way of ensuring the people I care for are treated with dignity, respect, honesty and kindness. I have seen up close and personal situations when cliebts were abused, neglected and made to feel unimportant. Some were family members and some were not, however I have made it my goal to stop the inhumane treatment of the sick/elderly by my own involvement or training others by showing them the exemplary standards that need to be kept regarding a human life. Some just simple do not understand the impact a positive attitude can deliver to a client as well as to the staff and family members of the client.

Hi my name is Trinity Cisneros I am 20 years old I am a mother of 5 month old daughter. I have been a caregiver for the past two years I get a pleasure of helping others who are in capable of doing certain tasks it makes me feel better that I can give my services and help and also know and get to know the person I'm working with and their stories about life about life the most thing I am proud of is that I am a fast learner and capable of doing any tasks that I am assigned to do . What most attracted me to be a caregiver is a one day I want to become a nurse and caring for the elderly is one step closer to fully doing my dream job and that hoping everybody not just my older folks.One thing I am proud of myself is that I am capable of communicating and handling all tasks and he calmly matter no matter the situation I provide excellent care I will always respect my elders I will always work hard and overly above and beyond to get my services to anybody and to give and to help as much as I can .

i enjoy helping people, and being a friend. Its also important to make sure they feel as though not much has changed in their lives. i understand that they have certain ways to do things and i try to ensure that it remain that way for them.

I am a very compassionate person when it comes to the care of other people. It's a passion I've had since I was 16 years old. I've been doing this field of work for 9 years now and I am very good at my job. There is nothing more rewarding then knowing you provided the best and utmost care you know you can give. I enjoy making people smile and feel comfortable in their own homes. I currently work in a rehab but I always make sure that my residents feel like they are at home. I make sure they know I am 100% at their disposal. Even though I have done this work for 9 years I have been certified as a CNA for 10 months. Getting my certification in 13 days was the greatest achievement in such a short amount of time. I tested out highest in my class and I have never been more proud.

I have 3 years experience in a Alzheimer's facility as a activity director, making sure those in the facility had the best quality of life as possible. I moved from there to another memory care facility as a Medication aide/caregiver. I am a certified dementia practitioner and have had lots of training with those with dementia. My passion is caring for those with Alzheimer's/dementia.

I became a caregiver because I love taking care of people it makes me feel needed and the people that are needing he assistance feel appreciated. I like being a caregiver because its helping an elderly person with things they cant do for themselves anymore. A personal achievement is when I graduated high school.
