Born and raised in Johannesburg South Africa. Graduated my BS Biology (premed) in 2021 from Southern Utah University. I have been caregiving for about 3 years. Caregiving has been a rewarding experience because I get to know clients while making a positive impact in their lives . I'm always enthusiastic, patient and always pay close attention to a client's personality so I best serve their needs I'm most proud of being selected as my university commencement speaker in 2021, feel free to check out a cool article they wrote about me in the university website to get to know a little more about my other achievements. Fun Fact: outside of my academic life, I run a non profit organisation in 2 countries that deals with healthcare accessibility for women and children in rural areas. My work with my non profit got me listed as one of the Top 200 young leaders in my country in 2020. I look forward to meeting clients and doing my best to ensure that they are happy and comfortable!

I enjoy working with people and spending time with others. I strive to work well as a team and provide direct communication between coworkers. Being a caregiver meant I was able to help others and provide the care I believe they deserve.

I became a caregiver because I wanted to provide my professional and quality care to the disable and to seniors. What I like about being a caregiver is, it really doesn't feel like work. It feels more like I just came over to assist a person in need. The personal achievement I am proud of is, that I have been a Certified Nursing Assistant for the last 16 years. I am also a Certified Medication Aide, certified in 2005. I now have a better understanding of medications, and the affects they have on the body. What I would like to tell you about myself is, One day in 1992; before I became a caregiver, and before my grandmother passed away, I was assisting her put on her socks. I didnt understand it then, but somehow now I do; At that moment I knew I would be assisting people in need. I have been helping seniors & the disable now for 16 years. It's very rewarding to see a family member pleased with my work. I am a mother of three daughters and grandmother of two g-sons and one g-daughter. I am a nurturer by nature, and I enjoy making others feel happy, comfortable, and joyful in their homes and special space.

The qualities I posses is a set of intrinsic qualities that certain human beings possess and others do not. It is all about personality and how that personality fits with the patient and the members of their family. It’s just as simple as that.I have a natural urge to help others. Often times I have always placed a priority on helping other people. Being that I want to make the world a better place and do it with one home care patient at a time.

I've been working as a caregiver for almost seven years, and I love it. I'm good at what I do. The well-being of my patients is my top priority. I'm a hard working,passionate,kind and caring person.

I have been a certified medical assistant since 2000, I am very friendly and trustworthy. I love working with the elderly. I took care of my father who suffered a stroke since 12/2000 he is bed ridden never had a bed sore. I cook clean and attend to Dr appointments, store etc. Most of all I am a people person. if given an opportunity to work I'd bring great achievements. I now help take care of my mother who has Hypertension, Congestive heart failure along with other illness. I take her to all doctors appointment and keeps a detail Care plane for her. Hello my name is Amber Shoemake. I am from Utah and have been in Vegas for 3 years. I have been married for 9 years and we have 3 kids. I became a CNA when i was in high school and I got a job right after high school. Which was 10 years ago! I love being a CNA! I love making a difference in others lives. I love interacting with those I care for and learning about them. I am very friendly and I get along with everyone. I am honest, trustworthy and very organized. I also love a clean home and I love helping others feel comfortable. I have been trained to give medications and check blood sugar levels. I also have my CPR.

In the past, working in care has brought me a deep sense of purpose and joy, and I hope to continue this service in the future. My previous client, Megan, is now a close personal friend even after I moved across the state. I have experience in domestic management and, in combination with my training in culinary arts, I am quite capable in dietary management and preparation. I personally have since recovered from severe hyperacusis and am comfortable provided care to those ailed with such a debilitating condition. I understand the difficulty in creating a safe environment for the management of pain associated with hyperacusis as well as tinnitus and auditory overstimulation. I look forward to meeting those that could benefit from my care and hope that I may be able to make an impact towards improving the quality of life in those I serve.

I have been a caregiver for over 25 years and I love it. My mother was a Home Health Nurse and took me with her sometimes and I would see how just little things would make her clients so happy and knew that is what I wanted to do. I have worked for Visiting Angels for almost 8 years and I'm still there, but they don't have many hours right now. I am certified on Alzhelimer and Dementia care, I also have my CPR certification. I can take your loved one to Doctor Appointments and report the doctor's instructions to the family, go on outing and doing whatever they choose to do. I have multiple letters from family members about how well I take care of their family members and they have also sent the letters to Visiting Angels. I love what I do so I guess that's why I don't look at it as just a job. I have always treated my clients as I would want someone to treat my loved one

I have enjoyed being a certified medical assistant for 30 years in numerous different fields. Caring for patients is a passion of mine. I come with numerous years of experience, a fast learner, critical thinker, problem solver, friendly, highly organized and have a talent for caring for people in some of the worst times of their lives with love and grace. In my off time I enjoy spending time with my family and my dogs, traveling, baking and singing music.
