I've had experience with individuals with mental disabilities. My family members has autism so I want to be able to provide the best care for individuals who can't care for themselves

Experience makes me a great care giver. I've been doing this since 2005. I love what I do and to see the smiles on my clients face makes it worth while. I get involved with their daily activities even doing exercise . . I have worked with a few families and in side facilities. I have done hospice care and more.I also have worked in memory care and dementia clients. Even Adults with mental illness. I come from a large family and as a child it was second nature. I love the smiles and the warmth that comes with being a caregiver.

I am very easy going. I like to form a bond with my clients. I want them to be comfortable with me being there for them and asking me to help them. I enjoy helping people because it makes me feel like I could help the world one person at a time. I grew up in the healthcare field my mother and grandmother worked in this field. When it comes down to it I feel at peace when helping families out.

I am a 50 year old loving mother of 3 amazing children! My son Connor is 8, my daughter Gabriella is 10 and my oldest daughter Macayla is 15. I have had the privilege to take care of my Mom, Dad and Godmother and have been blessed to be a part of Hospice Care. I want to make sure to give you everything your child and/or loved one needs! My name is Whitney Elaine Jackson I'm 24 years old I have two beautiful kids a boy who's 2 named Alex and a girl who's 1 named Danielle I am recently married to my high school sweetheart. My personality I would say Is sweet kind and funny I love to make people smile and feel better even if I feel bad. I am a caregiver currently and I love my patient. I think I make a great caregiver I love children and elders they are so fun and full of life . I started to be attracted to caregiver when my grandmother started getting sick we hired a nurse who we later found out was abusi g my grandmother and there I thought the only way that can be stopped is if I take care of my grandmother which I did the whole summer at the age of 14. I love being a caregiver because I love taking care of people it's my purpose. My personal achievement is that one summer of taking care of my grandmother at a young age I found my destiny for my life...to take care of your love ones.

Helping people is a passion for me. I dream of one day being a doctor who will be able to provide help to a vast number of people. Hello. My name is Vontrica. I've been a caregiver for over 8 years. Recently my great grandmother passed. She had dementia. Although I've cared for patients with dementia seeing my great- grandmother go through it was different. We never put her in a facility, we gave her the proper care in the comfort of her own home. I never made her feel different and always included her in conversations and activities. My great- grandmother was a hands on woman. She loved to iron, cook, sew, and she loved crossword puzzle along with reading her bible. Everyday was different however I would always be in the moment with grandma. Weather it was going down memory lane looking at pictures, singing, dancing, cooking, folding clothes together you name it! Loving on her and taking care of her needs and her overall well- being and health was my main priority. My patience is another that makes me a great caregiver. I never rushed my patients nor my great- grandmother. Doing that will aggravate them. I would always redirect in a pleasant way. I enjoy working with people especially one on one work. I enjoy interacting with elderly (they are very wise and you learn a lot from them) Building relationships and trust with my patients and their family. The flexibility. Making a difference and making someone smile. I became a mother in 2022 to a beautiful baby girl. My pride and joy! My patients would ALWAYS ask me if I had children and at the time I didn't. They would also ask if I wanted to be a nurse. They would always tell me how good of a mother and nurse I would be. I plan to go back to school to further my career as a Registered Nurse. So YES I AM a proud mother and caregiver.

What makes me a great caregiver is I'm very fun to be around i put your needs before mine i am very loving and confronting i will treat your loved one a if they were my own i love to make people smile and feel good about they self. What made me become a caregiver was when i was younger my grandmother suffered many of things we hired a nurse who we later found out was abusing my grandmother so i became her caregiver and i feel in love with it i love to help people. I enjoy most about being a caregiver is getting to meet new smiling faces and the new stories that get shared to me. My greatest achievement was becoming a caregiver to begin with.
