My name is Alma Salinas my primary language is Spanish and I enjoy taking care of people and their needs. Most of my life I have been taking care of children, adults, and even the elderly. I realized helping others makes me want to continue to Excell in my career practice on my English and provide promising results.

I enjoy helping others, it's what I'm good at and I'm most definitely passionate about helping and making others feel good and safe in my care. I have worked as a Personal care aid in a number of nursing facilities as well as in the comfort of clients homes. I have also worked in group home settings as a direct support professional providing sevices to such as tranporting to doctors appointments, community outtings and more. I have always been interested in working in the health care industry. I enjoy learning and getting to know my clients and building lasting friendships.

I've been a care giver for almost 10 years I love what I do . I am very friendly, don't mind pets or smoking . I am familiar with all transfers , I am also a very fast learner . I can cook real meals , I have my own transportation & I don't mind doing the shopping or going to appointments.

I have been caregiving for over 12 years, I'm a reliable person, easy to get along with and I also enjoy helping others. My first experience as a caregiver came unexpectedly when my mother in law was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer. I then became her live in caregiver and that's when I knew what my calling was going to be. I have intensive hands on experience and recently enrolled in classes to take that step towards.obtaining my degree in Nursing.
