I have been a Certified Nursing Assistant for over 30 years. Part of that time I was a Medical Assistant. I became a caregiver originally to help family members, and found that I enjoyed it so much that I made it my career. I am most proud of the fact that I make lives better and increase the social life of my clients.

I have been a Home Health Care Specialist for more than 10 years. I started caring for my mom and decided that caring for Seniors is what I love to do. I am blessed to have a chance to make a difference in someone's life. My experience is pretty rounded in that I have worked with clients from 22 to 98; with all types of care needs. I have done companion care and live-in care as well. I am kind, patient, empathetic, and people feel comfortable talking to me. I am a great listener. Each and every client becomes special to me and an important part of my life. My goal is to have your loved one look forward to me coming to work and spending time in my care!

I think I am a good caregiver because all of my life I've wanted to help people, I am very outgoing and friendly. I like to listen to people and see how I can better understand them to help them. I'm a young 19-year old gentleman that loves working with people and people with disabilities to make a difference in their lives. For that reason, I started working with Kokua and still do so as a Life Skill Instructor. I have been a caregiver since 2012 so almost seven years! I turn 25 In January. I just graduated with my AA june 9th and had my first child June 18th. I have always cared for my family and friends!
