Hi It's nice to meet you. My name is Brenna. I am patient, kind, pleasant to be around, and hard working. I have been a caregiver for 8 years and a housekeeper for 13 years. My passion is working with people and making sure they are cared for properly. My favorite part of being a caregiver is getting to know you, the client. You are important. I have many achievements, but my favorites are my two children and my rescue.

One of my first jobs was in a senior home care facility where I was the cooks aide. I enjoyed helping people with their orders, providing meals or condiments that made their meals enjoyable. However, my experience with the care facility made me decide that if at all possible when my parents needed care I would try and keep them in their own home as long as possible. Throughout my life I have had experience with home caregiving, or patients recovering after surgeries. I truly enjoy knowing that all people at any age want to be treated with respect and to live their life with dignity. Knowing that I can provide quality care and companionship makes my life more meaningful! One of my proudest achievements was when I worked three years for a gentleman who was 74, taking care of his 93 year old mom in their home. The son was able to go on trips with peace of mind that his mom's well being was in capable hands. With my assistance his mom was able to attend Red Hat Society functions, keep her house in the order she was accustomed to, and provide her daily bathing, dressing, and grooming routine.

I have had a lot of experience helping my grandmother who can no longer walk more than a couple steps with or without a walker, her vision is going as is her health so I have helped her over the years which really is what gave me the heart to help others as well. I understand the difficulty of being at home alone when there is so little you can do for yourself and I wish to ease that burden even just a little bit. I enjoy the conversations that I have with people when helping to take care of them, learning about their life experiences and fun stories from life, since every person has a different outlook. I am proud of living abroad for a year with a strange family and taking care of their kids while I was there. I was able to be with that family and learn from them, to me that was very valuable.

I plan on being a counselor for special needs adults and to pursue this career I am going to University of Washington. I have been working with children and senior citizens for around four years now. I worked at a pool and taught seniors how to swim and ease joint pain with fun casual physical therapy. I'd love to help and also make some companions!

First thank you for the opportunity! I am a loving and generous person. I have some CNA and PCA work but my CNA expired in 2013. I have a strong background of healthcare in my family.
