I am a strong candidate for this job because I am highly skilled in performing all types of patient care activities which include: dressing, bathing, toileting, feeding, moving patients to and from bed and wheelchairs, and assisting in rehabilitative exercise etc... My skills and willingness to learn new things would indeed be an excellent match for this position. You will find me a hardworking and attentive person with a patient driven altitude.

I became a caregiver in 2005. I was a teacher, got laid off and wanted meaningful employment. I had nursing skills from my country of origin, where I was a RN; so I decided to try care giving which I find rewarding, I enjoying making a difference in someone's life who has loss their ability to do things for themselves and to better cope with whatever situation they are in. I also have experience with hospice care. I have experience with Alzheimer and Dementia care . Iam also on the IHHS nursing registry. Hello, I'm a kind, empathetic, and patiently positive student who is aspiring to be a physical therapist. I'm a physical therapy aide at a private clinic North of Seattle. It is of particular interest to me to assist those in exercise plans, and physical activity or hobbies. I greatly believe this contributes to a higher quality of life. Caregiving is what I did for my grandfather when he suffered a stroke, while having COPD and dementia. Being able to return the favor, when he put so much care into caring for me was an honorable. It was a privilege to care for him. Everyone has their own story and experiences, and it is such a joy to hear them from all walks of life. Perhaps I could learn a thing or two in conversation. I'm almost certain some laughs will be shared as well. I'm proud of being a teacher in a local public school system for a number of years in a foreign country. I'm also proud of completing a marathon. I am current on my BLS certification.

I have had a life-long passion for working with adults who are differently abled, and have a great amount of compassion and empathy for such individuals. I started volunteering as a peer counselor when I was working on my bachelor's degree, and found it to be incredibly rewarding. After two more volunteering positions in human services, in addition to working as a case manager and caregiver with dementia-diagnosed clients, I decided that I wanted to dedicate my life to caregiving and social services, and continue this amazing journey. There is great satisfaction in being able to assist individuals who are in need of help to maintain a quality of life that they desire, in addition to helping people to better themselves. I am very proud of the work that I have accomplished both academically, in my community, and professionally. And lastly, here's a little bit about me: I have a BA in psychology and human services, and have aspirations to return to school for a doctorate in psychology. On a personal note, I am an artist in my down time, love my two dogs, appreciate the outdoors, am an avid gardener, and very much love cooking and baking.

I used to take care of my mother until she passed away and I have learned how to manage the basic care for an elderly person also I have experience working as a caregiver In assisted living and I just love it. I love to take care everyone of them because i feel compassionate about the fact that as human all we are delicates and vulnerable. My personal achievements that I feel proud of myself are punctuality and responsible, organized and very clean person.

I am proud being a caregiver because helping others matter for me. I worked in previous job for 10 years and the reason i left is because i moved to Minnesota state. I am patient organized and a good listener.

I am a very Compassionate and loving individual. I go out of my way to help others (at times go above and beyond.) I started with caring for my late grandma who needed full assist. And when she passed, I thought I could put my personal experience and with the right training, care for others that needed assistance. What I enjoy most about caregiving is to know that I am making a difference in someone else's life by simply being there for them everyday and helping them in anything that they need.
