I'm a very loving and caring individual! I love to help elders or disabled people! It's bring so much joy and excite to me. What attracted me to being a caregiver was watching my grandmother and my great grandmother get help from their caregivers and how much of a connection they had. I enjoy seeing the smiles on my patients face when they see me enter the room, the thrill I get when I see their beautiful smile knowing they depend on me.

Kind, caring, and patient. Willing to listen and learn. I enjoy history, aviation, and railroads. I watch motorsports and football avidly. I've done companion care for 3 years officially, and was a live-in caretaker for 5 years before that voluntarily. I'm returning to being a Caregiver because I truly miss the time spent helping the elderly and providing them social interaction. I know seeing a younger person be genuinely interested in spending time with them can mean the world to them. I know it lifts burden and worry off their loved one's shoulders knowing someone cares. I enjoy the happiness and joy a break in a monotonous routine I can bring by being there. A fresh person to have a conversation with. To share their life story and interests with. Someone willing to and actively enjoys watching Old TV shows and movies with. That they've not been forgotten. The thing I am proud of moston my life, is fufilling the promise my mother made to my father. That he would not spend his last days in a nursing home. I gave her my word before she passed away in 2017 I would carry on that promise. My father passed away in 2020. Through compassion, love, and a whole lot of patience, he spent his last days in his own home.

Some of personality traits are I have empathy for others . I have great sense of humor . I have 6 children so I have experience in taking care of others and a lot of patience and I like to see others do well It gives me joy to see others be successful and achieve their goals. I have all skills needed to take care of individual daily living skills . What attracted me to being a caregiver is I am a people person I love helping others especially ones that can't do it on their own . It brings me joy knowing that I helped someone achieve their goals and we can share that experience together . What I enjoy the most is basically the flexibility the connections the smile on one's face . A personal achievement that I am proud of is being a mom and raising my children and my belief in god .

Hello, I am Diane, I am 31 years old , born and raised in South America, I relocated to to the US in 2010 and I've been in the healthcare field since 2013, I chose the field of healthcare because it allows me to care for others in ways that not only make me happy but ways I would want others to care for my self and family members one day when that time comes. what I enjoy most about being a caregiver is accomplishing daily goals set for my patients no matter how big or small it may be and conversations are always the best, every personal goal of my patients are a personal goal of mines and completing those goals together makes me feel proud of why I chose this field of work.

Hi, my name is Jalexis Thompson. I am 26years old. I have been a caregiver for three years. I am patient, loyal, compassionate, and reliable. Things that attracted me to becoming a caregiver for the elderly is working with my grandparents growing up, and helping them get things done. Being a caregiver is an enjoyable job because you get to be creative, resourceful, and develop special relationships. A personal achievement I am proud of is graduating from Albany State University in 2018 with my Associates in Science Degree: Early Childhood Education.
