I cared for my grandmother ,for 2years and after she passed away , I continued caring for other people . What I do like about being a caregiver interacting and make them as comfortable as I can .My personal achievement that I'm proud of is I'm always being told how amazing I'm . I'm a vey caring and I enjoy taking for others .

To help the elderly who need care when there is nobody around, l like their company and being part of them makes me happy. I am always proud when care for person til she or he dies.I am a dedicated, dependable, punctual empathetic, smart and experience care giver for the past ten to eleven years,I lost my last client about three months ago. I have education for CNA,HHA and PCA please try me and you will be happy. I always felt like helping someone to live long and also by assisting someone to achieve it daily living activities. What I like most is when you help someone to be ok..and the person is doing great. I have numerous achievement so far as home care is concerned I have 6 years experience take care of clients. .who are physically challenge to attained their activities daily living. I have a CPR certificate,home care certificate and CNA certificate. I have been working with Partners in care affiliated to VNSNY.synergy home care,Acess nursing service. I have knowledge about HIPPA Rules and regulations. I have experience taking care of Alziermer patients,Parkinson,stoke,cancer,Diabetes clients etc.I do live in and live out night shit and day shifts.

What makes me a great care giver is because I do my job with compassion and put my patients first when it comes to care for them. I become a care giver because I had the opportunity to know my great grandmother and she was very independent before she came bed bound. I realized how important being independent is for the elder population. So, I devoted myself to be a care giver to help and promote safety to the older adults.

I am a great care giver for the following reasons. I give empathy not sympathy not all people want that. Most people want to be treated like everyone else a human being, and if you can let people keep there independence and assist them you will have the greatest reward in the world. There gratitude and smile.

I became a caregiver because I love helping people. My favorite thing about being a caregiver has to be the smiles on my patients face after I take care of them. My biggest achievement would gave to be successfully working with patients who were labeled as difficult, but I got people to see them in a different light. There's no point in being a caregiver if your not going to give it 100%.

I became a caregiver because I always wanted to help others that are in need of assistance in their daily life. I like that I get to help others and put a smile on their face while doing it. That really makes my day. One of my personal achievements that I am proud of is graduating high school and on time. I finished school August of 2011, I get things done when they need to be done. I don't like to procrastinate. I love having a good day so if some one is not, I'll do my best to achieve that together.

I became a caregiver because I realized that I love to take care of the elderly thanks to my grandmother. She became my guardian when my mother died of breast cancer, and when she got older it became my turn to take care of her. Being a caregiver is rewarding in itself, but I want to further my education and become a nurse. So while I go to school, I would like to keep working to cover the costs of my fare and books. It's my dream and although it's taking a while, I will not give up on it.

Because everyone needs some kind of help and i wouldn't be here without someone help.that's why i love helping people. Because you get to experience others costume and learn from them while you helping them too. Just by knowing you doing something good for others,doing it with kindness and compassion make me prod.I'm a loving,caring and compassionate person.

My name is Shaakira and I am a very hard worker.I decided to become a caregiver after taking care of my Very ill grandmother. What I like about being a care giver is mainly helping and caring for others.

I love to help people and see others achieve goals, whether its something big or something small. I started watching children at a very young age, that's when I knew my passion was helping others. I am a great caregiver in that i alway make sure my clients are comfortable and at ease with me, knowing that i'm there to cater to their needs. I got into home care because i am a people person and enjoys helping people. I like to make sure my clients and familes know that their love ones are been taken care of in the best way possible. I have taken my clients to the movies, to dinner, doctors appt. dialysis physicial theraphy ,played games with them like scrabble and do crossword puzzles with them and have conversations with them.
