When I was the age of 16 starting taking care of a young disabled girl from church, from there I really loved working with people who need care and assistance. I then got a job working at Independent Options at 19yrs old taking care of special needs adults. I had been working in the same company for 20yrs. I started as a DCS then moved up to House Manager. I really enjoy helping others who need help.

I love being a caregiver because it gives me a chance to interact with clients and emotionally connect with them. Seeing them smile is the highlight of my day. I enjoy caring for them because I feel like I am making a difference in their lives. I am proud of my personal growth as a mother and caregiver.

I'm a hard worker, and I always on time. I give my best ability to provide quality care. My experience as a caregiver that I work for senior disability home. My job duty include clean my clients beds, laundry, prepare breakfast, lunch, or dinner, give medicines to the clients, measure vital signs, charting clients behaviors, and other house keeping.

I love to be a caregiver because I have a compassion of taking care of elderly people. I speak fluent English.I became a caregiver because I used to take care of my grandparents for a long time before. In my opinion, a great caregiver is someone who not only has the correct technical and medical training to provide proper care and assistance, but someone that also finds joy in working with and caring for others. The process of caring for and helping people is a rewarding experience for me. I enjoy one-on-one care as opposed to the quick and impersonal work performed in a large facility. I'm successful in my career because of the attention to details I provide my patients, taking the time to listen and getting to know them.
