I have been a caregiver 5+ years and enjoy what I do. I love interacting with geriatrics, they brighten my day as well as I brighten theirs. I'm a compassionate person who always seems to put others before myself. I became a caregiver because I enjoy making a impact on others lives for their well being. I grew up mostly helping my grandparents after school and weekends do daily activities. I'm currently working on my nursing degree to better myself and making a better living for my family of 8. I'm proud I got back in school, now the gold is shortly awaiting at the end of the rainbow. Thank God.

I'am a great caregiver because I'am a very responsible, knowledgeable, dedicated and compassionate, loving individual who is very proud of the work I do. My best achievement in being a caregiver is the satisfaction and positive healing and caring that patient and family has expressed towards the service that I have done for them and knowing that being a nurse is the best decision I have made for myself and my family and to whoever has been affected and been involved in the process.

I have been a very compassionate, meticulous caregiver for over 20 years. I've operated in home health, hospital, and acute care settings. Also, within the 20 year span I have experience in a broad range of medical fields that has enhanced my career. I became a caregiver at the age of 20 caring for my grandfather of terminal cancer. I enjoyed the gratification and the enjoyment of fulfilling one's life with happiness. Being at the bedside to care for my patient is the most pleasurable environment to be in and to see them get the meticulous care they need. Also, to see them being nursed back to better health.

I am a mother of two son's and has two grandchildren,and a primary care giver of my Mom after the passing of my Dad. I'm a certified Nurse Assistant for over 20+ years, and love my work . I became a caregiver after realizing how rewarding it is to help others who are unable to help themselves. I began volunteering at a hospital and my position in patient relations required that I visit hospital patients and ask non-medically related questions. Small things like reading glasses, a warm blanket, cold water, or their favorite magazine could really make a patient's day when they're in the hospital. It warmed my heart and encouraged me to look into care giving. I particularly like helping elderly individuals. I've always had a "soft spot" for older individuals, even as a young girl, and I have a great deal of respect for them. A little over two years ago, I began my life-long dream of attending college and I am currently 50% complete toward my Bachelor's in Human Services. My goal is to become a geriatric counselor, so I'm already looking into Master's programs. Being a caregiver is giving me hands on training in this field. An important part of being a caregiver is not only am I helping the client, but I am also helping their families by providing a respite for them. I know firsthand how stressful caring for a family member is because I was the person in charge of my father prior to his passing 8 years ago. It can be overwhelming not only physically but emotionally and mentally as well. When I hear the appreciative comments from my client, their family, or my employer, it is confirmation that I'm in the right field.

I am a great care giver because I have a wonderful heart. I love taking care of people and making a difference in their lives. I have devoted my time to help those in needs. I am compassionate and extremely caring. I have a passion to help others.

I have been in healthcare for 39 years . I worked in a hospital for 36 years. I have devoted my working life to the care and comfort of the sick and our wonderful seniors. My mother had a stroke about three years ago I have been taking care of her for that long she doing better so now it is time to go back to work. I went back to school and became a cardiology technician I had a halter monitor I had to scan .The patient was in a third degree av block I called the cardiologist on call the patient had a pacemaker put in that night.

Taking care of people in need, on and off the clock, is my calling. It's what I do naturally, and what I do best. I love having the ability to see another human being through what can be the hardest time of their life. Giving each individual that I take of a piece of my strength, my mobility, my hope for them. I've been taking care of my own grandparents since I was about 12yrs old. They taught me that there is no great gift that I can give than myself. I took that and became a nursing assistant at a hospital. There I was able to experience different people in different areas of their lives, I somehow I was able to help them all. I absolutely love what I do. I'm a very passionate person, and sharing that passion with others is something I look forward to doing. I believe that this is what I'm meant to do.

I became a caregiver because I love helping others, I have taken care of my grandmother for many years and I have a passion doing so. I like to help others. I was a cna in 2003 at Methodist Hospital and enjoyed my job. I'am a very hard working person and a fast learner. I'am looking for night shift job. I will be available from 6pm to 6:30 am and can start job ASAP.
