i became a caregiver because i love helping people , where help is needed and started doing caregiving since i was 18 years old. I like making people life a little more comfortable and a little stress free. My personal achievement is that i grew alot and learn alot in this field of caring for people. I feel this is my calling and one of my reason im the women i am today because not everyone can do this job.

Hello. I am 44 years old. I was born in Los Angeles but moved to Tecate, Mexico at a young age. I have been married for 24 years and have 3 children, ages 23 to 15. I've always enjoyed helping people and making a difference in their lives, I believe in being gentle, patients and caring. I am also an animal lover and an excellent listener. When a person with dementia tells me the same story over and over again, I like to listen carefully each time with a big smile. I love taking care of children with Down syndrome because they are very playful and loving. I enjoy cooking and watching movies.

I am trying to get into a nursing program as i have finished my prerequisites at Diablo Valley College. I have completed my C.N.A. course and have been certified since October 27, 2014. I am proud of the career path I have chosen and wish to further advance on this path to make my contribution towards society and their needs. What I find the most rewarding about caregiving is the satisfaction of care that my client receives from me. I am very attentive and pay attention to detail in everything my client needs. I am kind, caring, responsible, and I smile often. What attracted me to be a caregiver is the field I am going into nursing.What makes me proud is the excellent care I provide to leave my clients happy with my work.
