Hello! My name is Jessica ,I am a certified nurse assistant with 2years home care experience . I have worked with adults with care requirements ranging from daily living activities to Alzheimer's care , condom caths,end of life care , feeding tubes ,colostomy bags and much more . My patients ages range from 1yr child care to 97yr adult care . I became a CNA for my grandmother when she was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's, my goal was to provide the best care for her as not only her caregiver but as her loved one . She is my inspiration for providing excellent care for families loved ones ,the way I would want my loved ones cared for . I am a college student aswell studying for my LPN and then my RN for adult homecare . I come from a large family of nurses and have a wonderful ,knowledgable support sustem if any questions should arise that I need answers too . What makes me a great caregiver is the fact that I am kind, caring, understanding, patient, sympathetic and empathetic. Taking caring of other people has always been a passion of mine. To see someone else happy makes me very happy. The greatest thing I have achieved from being a CNA is forming bonds with my residents and knowing they love me as much as I love them!

I'm believe I am a great caregiver because I put my clients first. I value them use as I would my own family. I because a caregiver because I love to care for other and I feel it is my calling. One day someone will have to care for my mother and father when I'm not able to and I want to be an example of how I want them to be treated. I am a loving caring and wonderful person to be around. I enjoy what I do. I love taking care of people. I started taking care of people when my father got sick at an early age. I guess being a caregiver stuck with me over the years I take pride in what I do. And I'm dependable person.

I have always been very fond of helping people. I believe if we would offer more help the world will be a better place. My care giving style is just natural. I adapt to my environment of the client/patient I'm around. I have a outgoing playful fun personality that is easy to get along with whoever you are. I was attracted to being a caregiver due to my grandmother passing in 2006. She was in a nursing home and I was young but still didn't spend the time I should have with her. Her care took a dramatic turnaround and we lost her quickly but quicker than expected. 3days and told we had a few weeks. I made a promise to her then I would make sure that I would go into the field of nursing to help and be there for others in whatever position I'm in to support them and give them the love they need to be ok. At the end of the day I know I've made a difference in someone's life. I feel full of love when someone's else is benefiting from me working. You might work so hard that you're exhausted but I promise you it does show in this field and does become accountable and rewarded. If it wasn't who cares you made someone life easy by being in it. The years of dedication I put into this field and never quit or gave up on the medical life. I fully believe in it's work.

What makes me a great caregiver is making a difference in someone's life by helping them and their families. Most importantly helping someone get stronger and make them happy. I became a caregiver because of my grandmother who was sick with cancer, her caregiver inspired me, they way she made my grandmother happy and the way she treated my grandmother. I accomplished my goals by becoming a caregiver and going forward by becoming a nurse. My patients all told me to become a nurse and that inspired me to go to school for nursing.
