I love to take care of people, I love to make people happy and comfortable and I love to see people smile. I cant think of a single thing that would offend me or that I would feel uncomfortable doing and I think this is a good quality. I consider myself to have a great personality and get along with everyone I meet. I am very professional when necessary but I love to make people laugh as well.

Since a very young age I have always been passionate in helping and caring for others, I love making people laugh and smile. I realized that caring for people was my calling once I started volunteering to care for homeless Veterans and family members. I believe a good caregiver is someone who treats the Client as their #1 priority; Being truthful, loyal, and always patient; Passionate, dependability, pleasant, humble, being a good listener, observant and always being on time. Being able to work with tough clients and knowing how to adjust your approach to the client. Allowing the client privacy and listen to what they say. Treat the client as if their one of your family members.

I'm a very patient person and I sympathize with the person in pain, because everything ive going through. I like to work with the elderly because it makes me feel that im not just making money but also that I'm doing something good as a human being. you never stop learning with them. they're full of wisdom. I also have learn and get so much experience working with patients all this years specially with cases of alzhimers and dementia. I worked for Brookdale that is a very good and big home assistant living. I worked in the area of patients with dementia. but i love the experience i had in the past working one to one. i think i can give the best of me to that one person that needs me with him/her. i worked 2 years with a person that was in a lot of pain and I took a good care of him. I stay with him until his last breath. that was the best time I had as a caregiver because we gave each other a lot of our best.

I have been a caregiver off and on for over 15 years. I have cared for the elderly, special needs individuals, small children, and babies. You name it and I am sure I have done it. I love caring for others! I am a very energetic and outgoing individual, and treat the individuals I care for as if they are family. I am currently seeking weekend hours, as I work as a behavior therapist during the week.

i have always liked helping other as a child. i took care of my grand father he was 99 years old. the work to most seem frustrating but i love the wisdom and compassion i got from the experience. the fact that in this very time some one needs you and the care giving to them will always be remembered and appreciated what better way to give back.

Hello, My name is Brian McCallion. I am 43 years old and enjoy helping people. I have worked as a caregiver with my family and some friends' families, but this is my first time seeking employment outside of that circle. I have a great love for communicating and trying to improve the lives of others. My mother also told me to treat people as I would like to be treated and I try to live life by that golden rule. I have a lot of energy, enjoy communication and always put everything I have into anything that I attempt. I just came back to America after spending eight years as an English as a second language teacher in South Korea. It was a tremendous experience and it gave me real perspective in my life. I grew up in a family of healthcare workers. After my Father-in-law got diagnosed with terminal cancer I decided to quit my job and stay home to help take care of him while he was on hospice. I then went to school and got my certificate for Medical Assisting and Medical Terminology. I have several years experience working in the medical field with people in many different stages in life. I have worked with those that needed minimal assistance such as laundry, shopping, cooking and cleaning, and I have also work with families that have loved ones that are in the last stages of life and are home on hospice care and require more assistance. I am a caring person. In the last five years, my family member came down with Demetia and Alzheimer's, it woke me up about the health care system. In daily life it is about how can we care for each person. It is about the individual and making each day count with dignity. How can I help that person live a happy life? Listening to the family and being about to do my best to help that person.

I am interested in caring for the needy. I feel my next calling is to nurture the elder. I've come across all walks of life and the good Lord has taught me to humble myself and serve where is needed. My children are grown and live miles away. I have a passion for making loved ones happy and living life to the fullest. I believe that someone in life has wisdom in different areas and you are never to old to learn new things. I am trustworthy, I've been a school security officer for Arlington ISD and willing to step away and change careers!

Caregiving is something close to my heart. I do not have any official certifications, but I was a caregiver to my grandmother and my mother. I provided care for my grandmother, she had Alzheimer's disease. I prepared her meals and assisted her in eating. I also assisted her with bathing and toileting. I also cared for my mother when she had cancer and have been inspired to pursue caregiving as a career.

I have always found very satisfying to help our people who need it the most, whether it is children or elders, the joy of seeing the progress and impact in their lives makes me enjoy life in a different way and really be grateful ,with that being said i started my career working with children k through 12 a very rewarding job, i made lots of friends ,At the same time my grandma suffered from dementia, and being herself my only grandparent alive i took it upon myself to help take care of her and i learned a lot along the way. I would like to use the same skills and patience acquired to help others and make a difference.

I started at Balch Springs Nursing Center. I was there 7 years. I left that nursing home and started working at Mesquite Rehabcare I was there 4 years. Then I left there looking for better pay. I was hired at The Legacy of Preston Hollow. I was promoted there to Rehabcare. I worked as a therapy tech for 3 years. The company sold and hired new managers. The company did away with all floor therapy techs and my loved one needed a full time caregiver. I stoped working, I took care of my loved one until she deceased. I worked with Agape, Homecare Assistance. I have 17 years of experince in caregiving. I love my type of work. I enjoy helping others. I can send my references if needed. I became a caregiver because of grandpa. I like being a caregiver cause I get to help people. My achievement is overcoming my fears. I am a mom, wife, and caregiver, with out A CAR. I came into the healthcare field over 20 years ago when my father became ill. I started out in medical records, I worked in several acute care facilities. In 2007 my husband had a heart attack, his health did a downward spiral. I stopped working to care for him. I also had a niece that I raised that suffered from sickle cell disease. My mom was later diagnosed with Diabetes. Over the past year I lost 2 aunts to breast cancer and my niece lost her battle with sickle cell disease. Caring for my family allowed me see that I have a passion for caring for people.

I have worked with early-onset dementia patients as well as elderly patients. I have worked a long side of physical therapy with stroke patience. I have worked with bedridden patient including bathing in the bed and bed pans loading into a wheelchair and feeding. I have worked with cancer patients with a tracheotomy. I worked in a assisted living facility housing 41 patients. I am married with 4 children of my own.
