Compassionate care giver experienced with patients with dementia, stroke, multiple sclerosis, diabetes and other chronic conditions. Have experience as an EMT working with patients of varying ages and genders. Can perform housekeeping duties, assist/remind clients with medications. I worked for many years as a welder but have desired to work in health care for many years, and am passionate about caring for people with needs.

I have been employed by the state of New York,for 27 yrs.I have worked 14 years for the OFFICE OF PEOPLE WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES And 13 years for the OFFICE OF MENTAL HEALTH,as direct care staff. I am now retired but I continue to do what I do best,which is helping others. I am now a Personal care aide. Looking for private care clients.

I became a Certified Nurse Assistant, because I was fascinated by the opportunity to help others in need. I particularly enjoy caring for individuals in the comforts of their home. I have been a CNA since 1997, working in hospitals, home health, mental health, and nursing homes. I have always went above and beyond my job description. I take great pride in my work and give my clients the best quality of life to the best of my ability. I possess a vast amount of experience, and have always strived to perfect my profession. Therefore always taking opportunities to learn and become knowledgeable of new procedures, etc. I have always made it a priority to be knowledgeable, and able to perform duties that over exceed my credentials. Whether those procedures require the supervision of a higher authority, I'm always fascinated to perform them when given the opportunity. I'm always trying to take my job title, and credentials to the highest level of my potential and knowledge. Therefore will make it a priority to take those skills to the next level when I continue my education, and earn a higher degree in the health care field.

I became a caregiver, based on my willingness to help those who aren't able to help themselves. I love making those people feel special and also important. It is my personal achievement to make others smile, and know that they are cared for. I'm 21 years of age a native on Indiana. Ive been a CNA/HHA for 3 years I absolutely love my job.
