Hello. I am a 38 year old great! Caregiver with a Big heart and Lot's of patience. I like to be a blessing to everyone I come into contact with if possible. At a younger age I moved in with my dad to take care of him, After suffering a heart attack which led to five hours of open heart surgery. On top of that he was a diabetic. After that I was sure about wanting to take care of the elderly and Caring for them being as helpful as I can

I am 27 I am a mother of one smart and joyful 1 year old boy, I am compassionate, patient and dependable when it comes to my work especially when caring for another human being along with doing what I am passionate about. What attracted me to bring a caregiver is the fact that I am naturally gravitated towards taking care of and putting others needs before my own which can be good and a bad things but for the most part it's good I enjoy putting smiles on people's faces along with affirming and uplifting them. My name is Alexis Vojvodich. I go by "Lexi". I took a job at Addus home care is what stole my heart and let me know that helping the elderly live a well life was my passion. I worked there for a year and i workd at Reflections Memory Care at the same time. I loved my clients/residents so much. I absolutely love getting to grow close and share my life with clients and I love that I get to help them live. Most elderly raised a family their selves, being a caregiver I feel like it is what they deserve, which is getting taken care of, just like they did their families. The achievement i am most proud of is getting the experience of helping with Addus and Reflections so that I will be able to care for the people that raised me to the best of my ability. The money isn't what draws me to this job, it is getting to show people that they are loved and getting to help.

I'm a very compassionate person that likes to take care of people. I love to help and especially when a person can't do it for themselves. I have helped in nursing homes and hospice. My greatest achievement is working a one on one basis with a patient for 8 years straight was with him from beginning to end.

I am very responsible, dependable and dedicated to whatever I put my mind to. I have experienced a lot with being a caregiver and learning about the different disorder such as Alzheimer's and dementia, I have learned what to do and how handle when I am out in those circumstances. Caring for others was not somthing I was expecting to love as much as I do. Knowing I make a difference in another persons life is more rewording then words can describe. I'm a certified DSP and plan to earn my CNA license starting sometime in March 2022.

I have six years of experience as a nurse assistant and am now halfway through nursing school to become a licensed practical nurse. I am a skilled healthcare professional. I'm a very kind person who gets along well with others, especially my senior counterparts. I'm excellent at communicating and have a lot of patience and respect.
