I am very compassionate and I love to talk with people. The elderly always have very interesting stories. I became a caregiver because I want to help others by being able to stay in thier homes and live a normal life.

I became a caregiver because I thought taking care of the elderly was just a good deed to the community. Something I like about being a caregiver is that I get to spend time with my clients and do the best to my ability to crack beautiful smile on their face which makes my day so much better. A personal achievement that I am proud is that I received a certification of recognition for my company that I have been with since 2008. I really enjoy being a caregiver because I have so much respect for my clients and their families and love to meet new people.

I am an RN that lives in Iowa. Will be moving to the Greater Des Moines Area in the next few months. I am looking for part-time or full-time work, Mon. through Friday. I have been a nurse since 1978 and have worked in Geriatrics, Assisted living, Private duty and temp service work. I also have management experience and have worked in the Psychiatric and Chemical dependency field. I enjoy working with people of all ages. I am dependable and compassionate.

I became a caregiver because my Uncle needed someone to help with all of his needs due to his age. I found it very rewarding to help him as well as others in the community. I too will be in need of a caregiver one day. What I like about being a caregiver is the appreciation I get from the elderly in need. After receiving my bachelors degree in psychology I am able to use what I have learned in a volunteer position with people who needed help with the grieving process. I became a caregiver because I care about people and I love to help others in their time of need. I have completed the LPN program at Hondros college of nursing. I an currently attending school now to obtain my BSN. I am certified in BLS, CPR and First Aide. I have experience working with clients with all sorts of medical ailments.

I love the medical field and helping others in need. I got involved in care giving over 25 years ago while working for an Oncologist and seeing how families struggled to meet home health needs that some insurances didn't cover. I have experience being hands on in home and also at a care facility. I am also working volunteer for American Red Cross and registered with the state which means I have been back ground checked. I have experience working with memory care and hospice. My goal is to deliver superior service, dependability and compassion for those in need. It is my mission to bring a special energy and positive attitude to each relationship I am blessed to be a part of.I want to provide peace of mind and trust to the family and friends that their loved one is receiving the love and dignity they deserve. My greatest achievement has been caring for my own father this last year who passed from stage 4 pancreatic cancer. he was on hospice and we were able to keep him at home. Hello my name is Allison Hallock and I love being a caregiver. It's more a passion to me then a job. Iv been in the field for 3 years now. I started the interest back in 2008 when my grandmother was passing away. I would help her caregiver everytime I went to go vist and it always put a smile on my face with seeing how happy she was with the help! My grandmother would alway say I'm so patient and caring I should make it a career. After that I finished high school and did exactly what she said. Iv never been so happy to help the elderly with there daily life skills! I enjoy my time 😀. I treat them like family and how I would want to be treated. I'm caring, loyal, passionate, strong, reliable, and I care about how others feel. I cook and also do some house keeping etc. I don't mind animals and helping take care of them also.

i am young and energetic. currently working as a cna for synergy but havnt recieved a case so ive been babysitting a newborn girl and 1 in a half yr old boy. i am a people person. i am very gentle and kindhearted. i like to help people who cant do things on their own. i want to work in labor and delivery and am currently enrolling for fall semester at ohlone to become a rn. i want to get more experience as a cna to open my opportunities at getting a job after i finish school. i think that what takes a person to be a caregiver is someone who is understanding and has good communication skills and knows how to work with people and be gentle and to also let them be as independant as possible.

For the last 4 years I have cared for my parents, my mother has since passed away and I have cared for my father with dementia till march of 2016.
