I've been in the medical field and a certified nurses aide for 3 1/2 years, but I just moved here to NC from KY and my license doesn't transfer so I have to retake the classes and exam but I am experienced and working on getting certified in the state of NC! I love all of my residents and care for them as if they were my own parents or family. Everyone needs someone they can count on to help them when needed!

My name is Anita Scott I started doing CNA work back in 1979 I was 18yrs old my mother and auntie got me in this field and l been doing CNA all the way up still now I enjoy working with elderly people they make me feel good know that I am helping somebody else family member I have a baby brother that's is metal handicap he was born that way he combined to a wheelchair he need 24hr care he in group home so l am his p,o care provider so I have to make sure he take care of right while I work to do my job I plan on retirement next year love my job but it's done got to my body need you take care of my health so I plan on pen or part time be 62 years old next year want to enjoy my grandkids one grandson and two step grandson and a step granddaughter altogether I have four grandchildren and l love them all

My mother and auntie were CNA and I been a CNA for 20yrs still working I love my job and what I do I love taking care of people it makes me happy that l am doing something for somebody

Caregiving has been a part of who I am as a person, even before I knew caring was a profession. Having been raised by elderly grandparents, I know the importance of family. I've personally been on both sides of caring. As a client and a caregiver, of palliative care. Compassion for others would be my biggest driving force. Haven completed over 100 clinical hours of asl, skilled care, in various healthcare settings under trained RN's and accredited doctors, I am knowledgeable in my abilities to provide exceptional care and great customer service care to family members.

I became a care giver because I have always had the pleasure of helping someone. To either simple or major situations. I love doing this job because knowing that I can make someone feel better in any condition that they are in is just rewarding to me. When tending to a patient, i always think "what if this was me"or "what if this was my family member". I get most my excitement about being a CNA when a patient looks at me and says to me"thank you for all you do , you make things so much better and easier" knowing that i can do that. .is good enough for me.

I love working with people. .....I am a person that puts other people's needs ahead of my own.....I am a cancer survivor so that gives me even more reason to help someone who can't help themslves. ..........

I LOVE TAKING CARE OF THE ELDERLY. I HAVE MET MANY WONDERFUL PEOPLE SINCE I'VE BEEN AN CNA..PEOPLE THAT HAS TAUGHT ME A LOT..I'M PROUD TO BE A CNA IT MEANS A LOT TO HELP PEOPLE, AND IT MAKES ME FEEL VERY PROUD OF MYSELF KNOWING I MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN SOMEONE'S LIFE

I became a cna after my grandmother became sick after surgery, my family did not want to put her in a nursing home so we all took care of her, so I have a mind frame of treating the elderly like I would want my grandmother to be treated if she was in a home. This Is just not a job to me this is a passion!!!
