am a great care giver because I love working with the elderly. I learn so much from them. I like to make them laugh, keep them smiling. I just love taking care of their daily needs. I love listing to them. take them out for a walk, shopping. we sit talk they are my role model. I love to cook, working with the elder they had show me lots of ways they like to prepare their meals. I became a great care giver when I started working with the elder they saw in me what I could not see then I realize this is the work and the field I should stay in, try other fields was not successful. but imagining what would I do without work for our senior citizen they need our help today. this is why I no I am a great caregiver/ home health aide/ CNA. I'm loving caring am a good listener, punctual, quick love to learn as I work on or with people with special needs.I love to cook am a people person. am funny.am helpful am good and handy around the home. They call me the handy lady.

Greetings! My name is Melissa Espitia and I am a full-time student at the University of Phoenix; I am pursuing a degree in forensic psychology and hope to continue on to medical school in the future. I currently work at Mission Commons, one of the communities of Holiday Retirement, located in Redlands, California. I absolutely adore working with the elderly! It has now been three years since I first became a caregiver and let me tell you I am genuinely in love with what I do. It makes me so happy to see how grateful people are and how strong your relationship becomes after spending so much time together. My passion for taking care of people came at an early age, as my mother was a hospice nurse for years and would continuously see her interact with patients. I'm looking forward to working not just with the elderly, but with any individual that needs care!

1. I have always had a very close bond with me Grandmother and I have lived with her and help her whenever she needs me. So I figured I'm already used to this type of thing so why not make a job of it. 2. I love the connection that I get with my clients. They are a blessing to work with and I hope to be a blessing to them as well. 3. Well working with my many clients the best achievement I have gained was having a client that had severe dementia start to remember who I was and talked to her family about me. I thought that was the greatest thing to accomplish and I felt like I must be doing something right. 4. I am a young hard working woman that takes my job very serious. I love to make people happy and I love building relationships with new people and them gaining my trust.

Like most middle aged adults, I became a caregiver for my own parents as they aged and needed more assistance. My father was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and lived for ten years after that, requiring assistance with everything from managing his finances to bathing and dressing. My mother has diabetes, high blood pressure, dementia and othere illnesses that required vigilance and special care. There is nothing like hands on experience to make you realize the need and opportunity to assist in this field. Soy bilingue asi que puedo hablar Espanol e Ingles, leer y escribirlo. Tengo un gran conocimiento de las culturas Hispanas, comidas, musica, modales. Como no tengo licencia de CNA, no puedo administrar medicamentos, pero puedo observer si lo toman. Since I am not a licensed CNA, I cannot administer medications, but I can observe someone taking them.

Good caregiver because: I'm smart, experienced, handyman, funny I will make you laugh, stong, genital, protective. Father figure !
