When my niece got diagnose with kidney disease in caring for her i realize my love for taking care of others. I enjoy giving support to families that need it. I get satisfaction from being apart of a family and helping others. i am proud of being able to use my passion to make a difference in the world.

I'm a 47 year old HHA whith 5 anos of experience. I''m honest, responsible, respecful a multitasker and organized. I take my Job very serious, my main goal is to make my patient feel confortable having me around, I will provide them whith a calm environment for optimal patient care. I'm proud of all the years of experience that I have in this field.

As Caregiver, I treat other the same way I would like someone treats me if one day I need it. I love helping people and my satisfaction is to see the emotional, physical, and psychological improvement in each of my patient's life. I love to see them smiling and let them feel that they are not alone. I have many achievements that make me feel proud, but the most important is, to make feel each of my patients how important they are. I believe that a healthy and psychological environment plays a vital role in health improvement. My best reward is to see my patients smiling.

I Love providing home caregiving services to those who otherwise not able to do so. I enjoy the opportunity to impact life and the difference my present can make. I always give 100% and do the best job I can give with, no exceptions or excuses. I also try to bring a sense of humor to my work . If I can add a smile or a laugh to a clients day that brings me great joy. The smiles on their faces is overwhelming and makes me feel I have done my job right. I have always enjoyed helping others with that said I know I'm doing the right thing.

I've been an HHA for over 9 years. I recently became and EMT and I've been doing that for a year, so I do have BLS training and I'm also CPR certified. Over the past 9 years I've worked with bed ridden patients, incontinent patients, patients with hoyer lifts, patients wheel chair bound, etc. I also do light housekeeping, laundry (for patient) and I can cook a meal if the patients desire. I am very fun loving and caring. Very understanding also. I became a caregiver because I liked the idea of helping others who can somewhat help themselves or can't at all and because I also want to be an RN (with my BSN) in the near future. I enjoy seeing my patients happy and having independence with a little help. I am proud of being the Aide I am today and also the person I will be tomorrow. I am also a nursing student and fully vaccinated against Covid.

What makes me a great caregiver is that I am passionate about my job... it's more like a honor to me to work with elderly and disabled people. It helps build your patience, your emotions, your empathy, The way you care for people.. I feel like you have to have a heart to work as a care giver or aide it's a special job. What makes me enter the nursing field is that you can make a difference in someone's life.. The smile they have on their face when your around or show them care and let them know your there for them is amazing. My heart is in this job.. I'm proud that I stayed in this field for the years that I have been doing this because it build my character it helped me become a better person in so many areas. I learned so much as time past and I love that all my skills I have learned from the individuals I have cared for can help my daily life and others.

I have been working in home care for 15 years, for the past 8 years i help took care of my mother, she have dementia, and is still currently battling this disease.
