My name is Sasha I've been a caregiver for about 5 years now and I fell in love with elderly people right away. I find joy in helping them stay in their homes so they can be comfortable and still do and have all they need and I love hearing the stories they tell. Hi my name is veatrice buckley, I feel that my current skills as a c.n.a I've worked in many convalescent hospital since i was 19teen , and I'm a compassionate and committed to helping others, i am very motivated individual and easily adapt to new surroundings, and complete the task provided to me. I also have my medical Assistance Diploma. I have epertise in blood draws, ecg, vitals, cpr/ first aid also knowledge of patience care, also specimen collection. Over the years, we thought we were just doing what we needed to to survive. I worked my way up to be a casino executive while my daughter relearned the majority of her motor functions and had several major surgeries as we strove for her to be just a regular "kid". Unbeknownst to me, I was acquiring a wealth of knowledge and experience which would prove invaluable for myself and my clients in years to come. At four years old, my daughter was paralized from Guillaime Barre Syndrome. At that time, this Syndrome was so rare, especially in pediatric patients, that several doctors would stop by our hospital room just to have a look at this frail, tiny girl. Unfortunately, that also meant that doctor's didn't have alot of information about my daughters illness for me either. From that point forward, as any nurturing mother would do, I set out to learn as much as I could, and do whatever was within my power to facilitate the healing process for her. This journey brought me from St. Josephs' Childrens Hospital and the Barrow Neurological Institute to the Shriner's Childrens Hospital, and finally after a relocation to Las Vegas, to the private medical community in this city. During this time, I found that I had generally acquired more knowledge of the syndrome than a lot of the medical personnel we were encountering. Not only of this particular syndrome, but of insurance policy's, pre existing conditions, medications and the intricacies of the pharmaceutical industry, patient insurance billing, authorization and co pays, to mention just a small portion. This lifetime of education bestowed upon me has been an invaluable tool in my caregiving career. Thus in turn, it has also benefitted each client I have had over the past ten + years as a caregiver.

I originally started out working with children dealing with mental illness/special needs, however, I did branch off to work with different groups of people such as Adolescents and Geriatric clients. I enjoyed it, it allowed me to gain and to have even more patience, being thankful and enjoying the moments that some clients may not get to enjoy with their family. I've achieved growing into an adult that lives and thinks outside the box, giving clients a chance to express themselves without judgment because of any condition. Listening is key and I learn more that way.

I have 10 plus years of experience I love helping people I've dealt with adults with developmental disabilities I've also worked with children with developmental disabilities and just adults that need Care at home and I love what I do

I love you give my patients the companionship they need and to be able to stay in their homes where they are comfortable in. The best thing about being a caregiver is I love to take care of people and make sure they are happy. I also love seen them be able to stay in the home were they built for themselves. The best achievement I am proud of is becoming a certified nurse assistant and to be able to be their for people when they need help. It makes me feel good to see my patients happy and succeeding in their accomplishments.

I'm a Great Caregiver! Because, I love providing care for Families in need of help. I became interested in becoming a Caregiver when my Mother was diagnoses with Multiple Sclerosis. And seeing her suffer and loss the mobility to walk and take of herself. I just wanted her to have the best care. What I love the most about being a Caregiver is helping people achieve their goals and help the one's that can't do for them selves. My personal achievement that I'm proud of is. I was a Licensed Daycare provider for 10 years. I was Licensed for 14 children. It was a wonderful experience. I truly enjoyed my job.

What makes me a great caregiver is the passion I have and greatest satisfaction of meeting patients needs on a daily basis. What inspired me to completely dedicate myself to this field was my grandmother and mother. I was dedicated in care for both of them at a early age. I enjoy working in this area and I am proud of all of my accomplishments through out 20 years of experience which has made me have more passion for patient care.
