I enjoy working with people and most enjoy jobs where you have one-on-one interaction with others.enjoyed taking care of elder family members and would like to help others in this way. I like older adults and feel i can get along well with a variety of elders. I like doing work that has the potential to make a difference in someone's life.

I've been help caring for someone since I was young girl, I use to help take care my grandpa with my mom and grandma. That's when I knew I knew what I wanted to do when I became an adult for a career. I love to help and care for people and just them the extra help they need. I love making people laugh even it's for a second and making people good in there own home.

Hi! My name is Emily, and I'm a senior studying Psychology at UF. I've been a caregiver in many different capacities since age thirteen when I had my first babysitting job. Since then I've had experience working at a children's daycare, a preschool, a retirement community, an Alzheimer's day center, and a home-health agency that provides services to the elderly. I have loved interacting with the elderly ever since I was a little girl. I discovered this by the joy that I felt when I would go with a group from my church to sing Holiday carols at nursing homes every year. I plan on going to going to graduate school for Applied Behavior Analysis, and my dream is to work as a behavior analyst with the geriatric population.
