I started in this field 2 years before my grand mother was formally diagnosed with dementia. I have been her caregiver for 5 years now, nearly 6. Between myself and my mother we make sure that she is taken care of. I found my calling through all of this, I was meant to help people. It gives me such pride and joy.

1. Some personality traits that helps me being a good care giver is I think of it being my grandmother or grandfather I'm helping out I'm making sure I'm being fun and happy to their liking. 2. One thing that attracts me to be a caregiver is that you can see different things in people you can help them with different thing and learn about how things work for when something Jason's to a close one that's in the same age range of the elder you are taking care of. 3. What I enjoy most is seeing them smile at the end of every check up seeing that they can be who they are not hiding their true selves seeing them comfortable enough with me to do anything . 4. Im proud of the woman I am today I came along ways from my father not really being there for me my mother in and out of my life to become a strong and smart young lady.

I love helping others being able to make them smile. What attracted me to be a care giver is helping Others and making them feel better about themselves also that they aren't alone.

I would be a great care giver. I love to listen to people tell me stories or about their day. I'm very nice and very friendly. My grand pop had stomach cancer and he was told he had a couple weeks to live. He was on hospice and I took care of him until he passed.

I became a caregiver because of my love and compassion. I have always wanted to work in the health field, but being able to find a career where you can care for someone that can no longer care for themselves or provide companionship for someone who does not like to be alone. I really enjoy taking care of others, as well as I'm very good at it. I love the relationship i get to build with my resident as i take care of them. I am personally very proud of myself for accepting and moving forward when i have to deal with my residents death. I have been a Certified Nursing Assistant for 2 yrs. I worked in a Nursing home for a year, i worked with anyone from Rehab to fully disabled individuals. I also worked for a Sitting Service where i also took care of individuals for 8 months.

I am a great caregiver because I will go beyond my job. I love to help and encourage independence. What made me become a caregiver was my grandmother. She had feel ill and had to have a nurse come to the house to give her a a bed bath and change her dressing for her wound. I seen the nurse change it one time and after that I would change it and also give her a bed bath. The achievements that being a caregiver has been is that I have learned that some elderly people don't have family and that fact that I can be a listening hear is very rewarding.

Available Monday's after 1:30pm Tuesdays 9am to 11am and Thursday's all day until further notice I became a caregiver at the age of 18 years old right out of high school I went to The American Red Cross and completed and passed my HHA/CNA certification in the state of Connecticut and currently was employed With a homemaker companion Service for almost 3 years sadly I had to quit my job and moved to Port Rithey Florida I don't plan on giving up my caring duties I enjoy helping others and whom may need my help My duties are light house cleaning Meal prep companionship and transportation , bathing and showering

I wanted to become a caregiver because when my grandmother got sick. I wanted to be able to care for people as well as the nurse who helped my grandmother. I always loved helping people when I was younger and so when I was 17 my Nana was sick and suffering from Alzheimer's. I helped my Aunt take care of her and it made me feel good want to help others. I know some people just do it for money and don't care how the client feels but I want the client to be comfortable and treated like how I would want someone to take care of my grandparents. I feel so much joy making someone ,who feels like they have no one , smile and aware that they are not alone. A personal achievement I am proud of is proving the teachers at my school wrong and showing them I am more than what they want me to be and I will be successful. I work really hard for what I have and I just want to continue to grow and expand my love to others.
