After watching my great grams health decline, I decided I wanted to become a caregiver. I helped my grandma take care of her for a couple years and learned how difficult and rewarding it is. I am a mother to a curious and witty little boy. I like to read, write, and binge on television in my spare time. I am most proud of what I have accomplished as a mother, so far.

I received my CNA certification in 1996 and worked in nursing homes until my husband was injured on the job leaving him paralyzed in 2002. I then, in 2004, cared for him until he passed in 2011. After taking a few years off, I began as personal caregiver once again. I am compassionate, caring and very reliable. My experience is in many areas such as dementia, Alzheimer's, transferring, med management, companionship gait belt, wheelchair, tube feeding also housekeeping and meal planning and preparation.
