I have raised my three childrens. I am very proud of and I enjoy caring for others and feel that it's very rewarding.

I am a 38 yr old mother. I am a CNA in hospice care at moment. I love taking care of others. I am a caring loving person. I am also a med aide. I am proud that I have became all this.

I became a care giver completely by need.my mother became very ill and she was getting older.I could not afford to pay someone so I decided to do it myself.I learneverything completely hands on.Showering, medication management, cleaning companionship doctors appointments, oxygen management, companionship, food shopping, girls day out shopping

I have over 17 years of experience in being a caregiver/care provider in nursing home, assisted living, geri-psych, hospice, and in home. I have always had a passion for being a caregiver. I take pride in my work and the care of others. My favorite setting to work with was geri-psych and being with dementia and Alzheimer's because these individuals need more attention, more one on one and I have developed the patience and understanding to have the heart and mind to care for them.

My passion is helping others! I have 3 kids, although when my youngest was 2 he passed away from a heart condition. Since that time I enjoy helping people get through very difficult times, the struggles that come with getting older, and lonely days when they just want some company.

I started as a caregiver since I was 10, It started out babysitting then when I got older I started taking care of elderly in a nursing home all thru high school before you had to be certified, I have never stopped being a caregiver I enjoy helping and taking care of people I have been Certified for 20 yrs now.

Why do I want to be a Caregiver again I was once a Caregiver and I really enjoyed my work because I love to be needed, In this kind of work you are always needed by someone. It doesn`t matter Young, old or elderly ,there is always a need somewhere. if it`s just to comfort them or read to them whatever they want you to do ,clean them dress them, bathe them feed them whatever they need I would try to help them in anything I can. What I like about being a caregiver Is I can be a help to them when they need me . I worked for hospice taking care of a couple, I was proud of myself for taking good care of her and him before she passed. I'm a Mom of 6 in which all are adults now. I'm the baby grandchild & cared for most of my Aunts Uncles & my Parents when needed as they became unable to. I like spending time with older people. My greatest accomplishment is that I've raised 2 kids successfully, and now am a proud grandmother. I like sports a lot. I've been a phys Ed. teacher in the Cleveland school district for 30 years. I get along well with different kinds of people from cross generational and cross cultural backgrounds.
