I am currently a Medical Assistant aspiring to become an RN and currently in school. I also work full-time during the day thus i can work evenings and nights, I'm free on weekends. I've been in the medical field for over 15 years and I feel that I was put on this earth to help people. When I was younger I wanted to be a teacher but the good lord had other plans for me. I have been in nursing for over 40 years, a lpn for 23 years. My most personal achievement is that I have recently retired after 40 years of service. I like being a caregiver for the interaction of people. I spent the last 13 years as a provider of care and an educator. I loved it. A little bit about myself, I am a third semester nursing student at Sacramento State University and my goal is earn my BSN. The program is 4 semesters, I am very close to officially becoming a RN. I put the patient before myself. I like to get to know my patient so I could educate myself on their needs and so I could understand them.
