I have become a caregiver so that I may help those in need. I love helping children and elderly people who cannot really help themselves. I am proud of the fact that I have finished my classes and I am moving on in a career that I enjoy doing. All my life I've helped people, I raised my siblings and my daughter and I am opt to learning new things. I'm fast at learning and if I see it I can do it.

1. I became a caregiver because I have a strong love and passion for helping and caring for others. I have long term goals of becoming a nurse, and I used to volunteer on the rescue squad. 2. I love being able to provide the help and care that others may need. Even more than that, I love the companionship, and love and friendship it brings you both. 3. Four years ago, my mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer. I left my job to stay at home and care for her. I cared for her from the moment she got out of the hospital and was sent home with hospice. I was with her through everything, until she was bedridden and couldn't eat or even open her eyes. I stayed at her bedside, bathed her, changed her catheter, adult diaper, dispensed her medicine, and talked and read to her until she passed away in my arms. I did this along with being a single mother of 2 young children and providing support to my other family members. Since then I have been caring for my soon to be mother-in-law on my own time while working and caring for my children. It is a true passion that brings me joy and happiness that I can love and care for others. 4. I am 30 years old, and I am a mother of 2 wonderful children. I am a very empathetic, loving and caring person. I have recently decided to look into going to college for nursing to pursue my dreams. Losing my mother four years ago was the hardest thing I have ever went through but has surely made me a stronger person, and also made me very passio

I became a Caregiver because I love to help others. I love working with the elderly and those who need help with daily living activities. I am going to school to become a RN and this is a good opportunity to get experience in health care. I do not yet have any experience working as a caregiver. I recently received my CNA license in December. I currently work as Shift Supervisor for KFC. I have been working there a little over a year. My duties there include supervising team members and making sure their job is being done, managing money and inventory, making sure food is fresh and ready fast, and making sure our customers are satisfied with their visit. I am always on time and ready to work. I work in a fast pace environment and do well under pressure. I work well with others and can work in any environment. Though a job is easier with no change, I am very flexible witch scheduling and sudden change.

In 2009 my grandmother was diagnosed with dementia. In 2010 she had a stroke, an because of the disorder,she had loss of memory and other mental abilities severe enough to interfere with her daily life. I moved back to Ohio and moved in with her. When I moved in she didn't have the ability to do anything on her own. What I love about caregiving is just really being able to help a person in need. In 2014 I in-rolled at Bryman College for medical assisting and the school closed down 140 hrs into 200 hrs left at my externship site. I was determined to get into the health care field, so I enrolled into a new school and completed the program again. I've been doing in-home care for awhile and I love it. It took me awhile to find out what I wanted to do with my life, but after what me and my family went through with my grandmother, I find great fulfillment in my career choice in the health care field.

I'm a happy bubbly person. I'm always very friendly. I started as a caregiver because of my grandmother. She had lung cancer and wasn't able to do much of anything on her own. It inspired me to help other in similar situations. I enjoy being a caregiver because I love helping people. I enjoy knowing I make life a little easier for some people.

I was raised by my Great grandmother. I always made sure I did any and everything I could to help her stay on her feet. She is now 75 and still on her feet! I was attracted to being a caregiver because it makes me feel good to make other feel better. One personal achievement I am proud of is being the most generous person I can be everyday.
