I am a experienced caregiver with a tremendous amount of heart and faith in always doing the right thing. I am dependable and honest to a fault. My experience covers a lifetime of caring for individuals in ALFs, hospitals, residential as well as supervising others in the field. Currently, I am a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Florida. My degrees include: Graduate Certificate in Gerontology from the University of South Florida (USF), B.A. in Business Administration and a B.S.W. (Social Work). In the past, I had studied Nursing at Hillsborough Community College (HCC). I am fully capable taking a B/P manually or electronically, Hoyer lift, as well as the usual TPR and weights. I have volunteered with Life Path Hospice from fall 2007 - fall of 2010. -- Currently, I am learning German, Finnish, Italian, Indonesian and know basic Spanish. Also, I have had studied basic Korean, French, Norwegian and Swedish languages for the pure joy of learning. If needed, I can work full-time short term (negotiable), live-in a few days a week, daytime or overnight and have had my second COVID vaccine.

I am currently Medtech and am looking to work as a live-out CNA or caregiver. I have been caring for seniors for over 6years and I really enjoy it. I have worked professionally ranging from private family cases to nursing homes,assisted living and agencies.The warmth, the love and the little thank yous' are what motivate me. I am very patient.honest, compassionate, understanding and very reliable. I do drive and own a vehicle to aide to the outdoor needs of my patients; going out to places,grocery shopping,doctors appointments and fun activities. I also have experience as a recreational therapy assistant thus I learn about the person I am to care for and try to bring in interesting activities to make their days brighter.I like pets, but have a reaction to cats. I am a diligent christian, also a non-smoker nor into drugs.

I had my own daycare for 20 years. I been taking care of children since my first brother was born when I was 6. Other people's children at age 13, newborn and a 12-year-olds. I have babysat or I have been a surrogate mother to many children when they needed it. Was a Foster Mom for many years. Love people, but have a special aptitude for children, elderly and handicapped. What makes me a good caregiver is i charish my job & my clients , i put my all into my work just to make sure my clients are loved an cared for, also smiling at any given time . I have a very outgoing personality , i take the time to get to know , learn & understand others , patients is key for me , when you meet me im like a heart of gold. . what i enjoy most about being a cna is the everyday life of coming to work & seeing your clients smiling , laughin & giggling , the long talks we have about life & different daily activities . Hello im a experienced certified medication technician/ phlebotomist i have over 6years of experience working with seniors and patients with disabilities. I take my job very serious and my main concern is the well being of my clients i discovered my passion in health care after i cared for my great grandmother for 7years up to her passing at age 92. I enjoy caring for seniors most because working with them at that glory age brings joy to my heart i treat them with the same care and respect as i would if they was my family because when they become my client they also become my extended family. I recently furthered my education in healthcare and graduated school to become a certified phlebotomist so i can succeed further in my career, i plan to expand my credentials with more certifications and degrees over the next 3 years.
