I love spending time with any individual no matter the age I recently helped take care of my father who was battling cancer in hospice, that's where it started when I realized I found passion in helping others. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is the friendships that come along with it. I enjoy helping take care of others. A personal achievement I'm proud of would be taking the step too further my education in college while being a full time manager.

I'm a mom of 4 kids and a grandma of 2 grandsons. I grew up in Cambridge, Iowa until I was 18, moved to Arkansas till I was 23, then my husband and I got married June 25, 2011. I found out that I love helping others when my mom would take us to the nursing homes where she worked and I got to get to know alot of the residents there and help out a little. So far my favorite job was Windsor Manor and helping with my father in law at home. Windsor Manor was a lot of different elderly patients from wheel chairs, walkers, bed ridden, hospice, alzheimers, dementia, and just some that needed to have a visitor now and then. I found myself feeling they where my family. I also took care if my father in law at his home that also had dementia and alzheimers for about a little over a year till he passed away. I like finding stuff that they used to do as kids and bring back some memories and some really good stories. Being a caregiver gives me satisfaction that I'm not only helping the patient but also it gives the stressed out family a little break that is well needed. I feel helpful, grateful, and achievement helping those that can't do it all.

My biggest ideal in life is to help others, and to spread kindness where it isn't. It's the simple things in a day that make all the difference to people. And I want to help where I can. I try to treat others the way I 'd like to be treated.

I've been an certified C.N.A for three years, Im compassionate, considerat, caring, easy to get alone with, dependable, caring and I love lending an hand to my peers-or to anyone in need. What I love most about nursing is being able to offer others an helping hand in order to improve their day.

I became a caregiver because I am a very passionate, empathetic, kind, caring, and very uplifting person by nature. I have learned from a young age the special help my elders needed. I grew up always more then willing to help them in any way that i can. Just because I wanted to, it made me feel good to help, but the gratitude would be overwhelmingly sweet at times, which made the experience/feeling all the better. I have always been the person who brings a smile to everyone's face around me, and promote positive energy. All throughout the years people from school or the workplace, would describe me as "bubbly", "positive", "energetic", "friendly" among similar words. I have a lot of achievements to be proud of, scholastic wise, job wise, etc. but honestly, I am most proud of all the people I have helped, while keeping them smiling. My mother is also a caregiver, and I have helped her as well throughout the years, becoming more and more interested. My goal is to help as many people as possible, for them to be able to stay in the comfort of their own home as long as possible. My grandmother is one of many people out there who is willing to do anything to stay at home rather then go to a nursing home. She, like many, want desperately to stay in the comfort of their home as long as possible, and I want to be that friendly girl with the smiling face helping them do that.

Empathy and compassion. Working with people in a home care setting, it is essential that I feel the desire to want to help. By showing both empathy and compassion I will let the person that I am caring for know that I care about them and want to do what I can to help them. Patience.

I believe I would be a great candidate for this job just because I have the skills and qualifications for the job. I have experience to handle the duties I will receive. And I'm also have a grandmother that I assist with as well.

I am a nursing student. I just finished my lpn program and waiting to take the NCLEX. I am then going for my RN but as for now I am looking for a job in healthcare until I take my NCLEX. I am very responsible and trust worthy and I just love being able to work with those that need help with every day things that it's hard for them to do on their own.

Being a caregiver means I can lend a hand to other in need. Which gives me purpose to be kind in this such unkind world. Not only is being kind important but I put a lot of value in a humble trustworthy person such as myself. I have been caring for all ages that walk this amazing earth and it gives me honor to be able to do such a wonderful thing for others. I get to be there for them and know that they have a great hand at there side.
