I'm a mother of four beautiful children and one grandbaby my heart is big I care for others and animals I adore I'm perfect for a care giver job because I'm naturally a care giver so why not do the things I love and get paid to take care of my family .

I am understanding and I give a 110% in any job I do.. I think everyone should be treated with respect no matter who they are.. I listen to my patients and I am very observant. I started working in nursing homes when I was 15yrs old and I have done it on and off since then.. I love caring for the elderly , you can learn so much if you just take the time to listen.

I truly believe my purpose in life was to assist the ones that are in need of a caring compassionate trustworthy individuals that can provide the service of care in a professional sincere manner that brings joy to the heart. That's me!!!

My grandfather had cancer and there was no one there to help my grandma. I love the smiles I and stories I get to hear from them. I have went to collage still in collage and with my experience's I have grown personally to be a better and more giving person. I have letters of thanks that I am very proud of from past clients. I am a giving reliable caring person. I am in school for Psychology to help understand and talk to and better help those in need.

I enjoy helping the Elderly, Makes me feel good I have helped someone. I like doing things like going for walks, or playing puzzle's, Helping them Exercises, Baking, cleaning their homes. I help them feel good. want to live again. I am a giving person. and give my all when I work for someone.

I became a Caregiver for my parents when they were elderly. And it took off from there. It seems like when I have completed one job, another opens. I solely do this on my own with no agency. I am at the point where I DO need job opportunities. Caregiving gives me the feeling and KNOWING that I am helping someone that NEEDS someone there for them. They appreciate that person. My personal achievement that I am most proud of is that I was in the US Navy. I live in Pacific Beach. At this time I am unemployed yet available to start work immediately. In the past I took care of my parents that were restricted to their home. My Mom had cancer, back surgery and a heart attack and was bedridden. My Dad had COPD, emphysema. He was on oxygen 24/7 and was unable to care for himself as well. Along with managing their meds, helping them exercise, etc I did all of the cooking and cleaning. I took care of a personal friend that is in a wheelchair. Basically the same procedure in taking care of her as I did for my parents. Also helped with her physical therapy.

i have been a caregiver for about 15 years in Greeley CO. I was offered a job taking care of a woman who had a stroke and enjoyed the job. i have since had many jobs. I enjoy getting to know people and hearing their stories of growing up in another time frame. I was with one woman for 2 years before she passed away. I have been a caregiver for 28 years. I became a caregiver because I adore and love caring for people whether it be a child or a senior. I have been a CNA but now just a PCA a personal care assistant. I cook and have had my own catering business called the LUNCH LADY. I do light and heavy housekeeping. I run errands to the grocery store, to doctors appointments, and just daily outings. I handle personal medications and organize them if needed. I'm a great caregiver because I treat each client as if they were family and I love being able to know I've helped or made someone's day even better then what it was. I became a caregiver because I used to help out with my grandmother before she passed and I took a liking to the feeling of helping etc and as I learned more and got more experience I pretty much started to love it I like to be hands on and just knowing I helped out and made someone feel better makes me feel good about what I do. My personal achievement is to be able to have long stability with the field I'm in and to be able to grow and stay in the field to learn more and be able to support my family more.

Hi my name is Aleshia I just moved back to Indy from Illinois. There I worked as a cna in a hospital setting. My duties as a cna was helping the patient do daily activities like bathing/bed baths. One to one feeding and meal prep. Tolieting or changing depends. Keeping their room clean and tidy. Also I would do what we call sitter shifts where we would sit with confused or combative patients. I enjoyed working in the healthcare field. I treat everyone as family !

I first worked with the elderly when i was 16 at a rest home for the summer.I knew then that i enjoyed working with old folks and could make a difference in their lives.The elderly are generally honest and open to work with.I like being able to help those in need and to bring some joy with my work.
