I first became a cna when i was 16 , i started as a nurse aide and enjoyed taking care of elderly patients then became certified and kept going for many years then finally got my med aide iv worked in nursing homes and in home care. iv really enjoyed the in home care alot more because you have more one on one time with the clients, i have a big heart and really get attached to the clients and just want to make sure there getting taken care of the way they deserve and the way we would like to be treated if we were them. im ingaged and my kids live on there own i have 3 grandkids that i spend all my free time with when not working...

I Became a caregiver years ago.I helped my Mom and Grandmother take care of my grandfather who had Parkinson disease .I Really loved helping him as he needed love and lots of help to get there all he was now going threw not able to take care of his self anymore. I think what i really like about being a caregiver is the being able to help people who can no longer do things they use to be able to do.just give them understanding ,love and support is rewarding. A personal achievement for me is becoming a Nursing assistant i wanted to further my education in taking care of people with memory loss to better help take care of them in there new journey in life. I Am a mother and wife.I Love helping others it's a wonderful fulling part of my life.I Also love to do graphic design in my free time.

I became a care giver after the i had experience with my parents. I become very passionate and very caring with individuals that are in need and cannot do for them themselves..what is the most important in being a care giver is helping those that are in need and cannot do for themselves. I am very passionate caring and loving. My achievement in the past as a care giver .I have put a smile on thier face.and make them successfully live to the end of the individuals life.

I was inspired to be a caregiver by my grandmother. She was diagnosed with kidney failure when I was a sophmore in high school. Through the grace of God she was blessed with two kidneys to replace her failing ones. The time she was on diaysis I was taught the role of a direct support perfessional. From preping meals, sorting medication, grocery shopping and countless doctors visits I learned that patients is the best way to work with the elderly. I feel like I would be a good caregiver because I have countless years of experience as well as love for people.

I have over 6 years experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant 2, working in various settings such as in home care, hospital and long term care. I have a passion for caring for others and truly enjoy what I do.

I became a caregiver because when my grandmother was alife i use to take care of her n what when i fell in love with helping the elderly. I was raised in a family that was proudly involved in the medical feild. Due to that when my grandma and grandpa became very ill my family chose to take care of them in the home instead of choosing an assisted living home. That is when I fell in love with being a caregiver. Three days out of the week until I was 15 (when I didn't have school) I would go with my mother to help my wheel chair bound grandmother get up in the morning and live her daily life. After her passing I found much joy in volunteering at senior centers and then later continuing in home care for patients with dementia and family friends whose grandparents have fallen ill. I love seeing people continue their daily lives as normal as possible and being able to live in a welcoming/ comforting environment despite their physical or mental limitations. Due to the love I have found in helping elderly, or those unable to fully care for themselves, I have chosen to attend Oakland University for biomedical sciences to hopefully attend medical school one day soon. Being a caregiver is something I have been raised around and is a true calling for me which is what makes me so successful at it.
