Nurses Case Management

Rendering help to the elderly is something I have passion for. I turn to learn much from their wise words. I love my job that is why I do this. Helping the elderly with their day to day activities gives me joy. I have been in this field for about 5 years and have provided care to over 50 elders both male and female. I provide care such as meal preparation, bath, grooming, toileting, light house keeping, laundry, companionship, and run errands such as groceries shopping and doctors appointments. I treat every elder as though they are my real parents or grand parents.

I am a great caregiver based on the experience, patience & care provided. I became a caregiver by assisting my own mother in her challenges with failing health . By doing so it became a desire for me to want to help the elderly. One of the greatest rewards is to assist someone who can't do for themselves. To be a help to others is one of the ultimate rewards in life. One of my personal achievements I'm proud of was being there to the end of life for my mother. This field of work allowed me to be there from the beginning to the end with no regrets. Since then I pass on the skills and care to others.

I am a christian faith based personal care provider. I started my career as an elementary school teacher in Ghana, West Africa from 1984 to 1999. My passion for taking care of the elderly was developed after caring for my mother during her last years on earth. Upon arriving in the United States, I earned certifications in Medication Administration, Nurses Aide, and in Assisted Living Management to validate my experience and make me competitive in the field. My unwavering love for my work has awarded me a great number of clients who have become an important part of my life. My growing list of clients encouraged me to recruit and supervised equally passionate and experienced Nurses Aides to assist me in my work. I am a very patient care giver. I am an expert in dressing and bathing clients. I like to see them clean and tidy and living a normal life. I like being around the elderly because i receive more information because they are more experienced. What i enjoy most is bringing changes to their lives. My personal achievement is being in a team taking care of a lady that was in hospice and was given 6 months to live. A team of care givers was given an opportunity to take care of this client and she is still living over 2 years.

I'm a very gentle and soft spoken person, I'm patient, I put the clients needs first. I'm a wife, a mom, a grandmother. I like to cook,read, and sight seeing.

I am a compassionate care giver. With 8 years of experience and I am waiting to help others. It is what I like. The sense of responsibility to help others always stay present to complete my job with efficiency. I like to learn new ways to work to develop better my knowledge, and help others to succed and have a better quality of life

I became a caregiver because I experienced first hand what is like to provide care for someone who was no longer capable of performing everyday living activity. I took care of my mother for over five years, and my father for over four years. I have recently also taken care of my brother. I have always liked taking care of others and helping others, but after taking care of family I gained a clear perspective of the need for good caregivers. I love being a caregiver because it makes me feel like my life has purpose and it gives me a fulfillment inside to know I am doing something that is making a difference in someone's life. I am proud to know that I was blessed to be able to take care of both my mother and my father. Some people don't have an option to take care of their elderly parents, but I was blessed to provide care for both of my parents. I am a very empathetic, compassionate, and loving person. I have been pursuing a nursing degree, but it was put on hold to take care of my family members. I was only able to take one or two classes at a time, and then I had to stop taking classes for awhile to be able to give the time needed to family who needed care assistance. I am a graduate vocational nurse I recently graduated from nursing school and I am awaiting to take my licensure examination. I am looking forward to making a difference in lives.

I became a caregiver 13 years ago with the mindset to give the best care possible to clients. I am a perfectionist when it comes to caregiving. I love to learn everything about the client... from daily routine to likes/dislikes along with learning new things from the client. Which is what I love the most about caregiving... the clients teaching me new things :)

A great caregiver is one that's caring, empathetic, attentive, supportive and mostly loving. I became a caregiver over 5yrs ago after taking care of my sick mom. I came to realise that having our support, attentiveness and love helped her go through some of the challenges of aging. I helped her stay comfortable and I realised I had a calling to work the elderly. I love being a caregiver because I take pleasure in putting a smile on someone's face, being there, present showing love and support. I have worked with many a clients and my most important achievement is helping my frial clients get strong again and happy to live life.
