I have 18+ years experience as a LNA/ CNA/MA/Housekeeper. I am CPR/BLS and First Aid certified. I have worked in Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Homecare and Hospice. A majority of my clients have been diagnosed with Dementia. I have alot of extended learning learning hours with Alzheimer's. I absolutely love working with seniors. I can't imagine doing anything else in this life. I have been out on my own for, five years now, I love the one on one contact of homecare. Integrity is the word I use to describe myself. I always do the right thing, even when no one is looking. Because I am honest and dependable, the work continues to flow. I usually work within the same family for a very long time. I can administer medications and insulin, take vitals, personal care, housekeeping, transportation, cooking, pet care, hospice, really anything you need I can help. My name is Shayna Hawkins. I am a 3 year sports medicine student, I am going to start my CNA classes in august, and I also rodeo queen. I am great at problem solving, I am very understanding, and also very patient as well. My family is full of EMT's, nurses, and clinical workers. I have always loved helping people out and learning about the human anatomy. I enjoy making bonds/friendships. I know I have a job to take care of, but it is very important to look at the needs and wants of the person you are providing for. I am very proud of myself for getting accepted in nursing school my junior year of high school, and winning rodeo queen. Becoming a rodeo queen has taught me a lot about human behavior and looking outside of the box.

I started working as a caregiver for 5 years. Then became C.N.A. since 2002 from Yavapai college had worked with nursing home s, hospitals , YRMC, and VA hospital in the extended care unit.

I am a very passionate person, I love being a part of helping families with their loved ones.I am a patient and kind caregiver,I have learned a lot of patience from the people that I have cared for.I decided I wanted to go into nursing at 12 years old when my mother was helping care for an elderly friend. I saw how happy my mother was when she was a help to this family and how much they appreciated her care. I received my CNA license at the age of 19 and then got my Caregiver's license shortly after a big achievement for me.I spent most of my years in nursing career in nursing homes.(long term care facilities) I did spend some of my time working with children with disabilities, which was an AMAZING time for me. I worked in a few care homes, which gave me the opportunity to be one on one with the residents living.I am a enthusiactic person, I enjoy learning new things to enable me to care for people better.I just love being in the nursing community.

i am a very loving and caring person . everytime i am doing something for someone i do it the same way i would like it done for myself . i am dedicated to my job and would probably live there if i could . i am a very sympathetic person also emotional so i always have a strong connection with my patients . what i enjoy most about my job is everyone i have ever worked with has requested me back and that has told me i am doing something right . personal achievements i would be proud of would be being with someone as they took their last breath . i got to know such an amazing person . i have been put under pressure in so much different situations from deaths , seizures , fainting , hem-ridging , and falling . the list goes on . everyday at my job i learn something new and am more prepared for the next time .

Hello, I'm Shelbi. I am 25 years old, I am a momma and a wife. I have been a caregiver for 9 years and love every minute of my job(s). I started caretaking when I was 16. I had assisted my mom with a client and fell in love with it. I enjoy being able to sit and talk with my clients, and hear all the stories they have to tell.
