Assisting the elderly has become something that I am very passionate about, I treat my clients as they are part of my own family, with lots of respect and diginity, everyone deserves to be treated this way. My duties include: meal preparation, housekeeping, managing medication, bathing, grooming, dressing. It's hard to talk about ourselves but I'll give it a try, I was introduced to caregiving by a family member since that day I went and got my self in school to get my cna certification later on I also received my dsp certification. This career is very rewarding for me, helping people and providing support to the people that needed the most is what I enjoy doing the most. I personally like watching movies, going on walks, and cooking.

I am personable and enjoy being a home care provider. I became a caregiver because I wanted to help others by assisting them with their activities of daily living. I enjoyed caring for many seniors over the years and learned quite a lot from them. I believe I'm a great caregiver because I have had extensive training in a skilled nursing facility as well as in many private homes. I also enjoy seeing the difference that I often make in people's lives. I became a nursing assistant back in 1982 and acquired my Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license at the convalescent hospital where I worked. I then went on to work for several home care agencies and acquired my Certified Home HeaIth Aide (CHHA) license. I have worked as an independent contractor caregiver for years. I am willing to commute for full-time employment. I have great references and will be happy to submit them upon request.

I used to take care of my own grandparents, by providing them with all the care and love they need and making a difference in their lives. Firstly I am an honest, faithful, loyal and trustworthy person to work with. I try to go beyond my line of duty to ensure that my client's health is my top priority. Therefore I would treat them with love, care and respect as I would treat my own family member. Lastly I am also flexible with any schedules given to perform and hours of work and day's that my services maybe required.

I am a licensed esthetician in the state of California. Having been a Certified Nursing assistant for 2 years I have acquired a passion for health/healing. My goal now is to be able to further my career with said licenses among the Holistic Healing Community. I hope to gain more experience with what Holistic Health has to offer me and use the knowledge and skills I obtain on this journey to take on a career that is healing and nurturing.

In my heart I know I am only satisfied each day if I can help others in some way. It is almost a give back to what I wish I had for myself growing up. I am constantly studying communication and I love sharing stories about life and learning from others. I was raised by my grandmother and I am constantly told I have an 'old-soul', but a huge energy for life. I graduated high school from Del Oro, in Loomis, CA.I also graduated from medical vocational school in the area of Lab, Phlebotomy, and ECG. Almost 20 years ago I taught the piano, and I want to learn to play again.

I have worked in the medical field for over 20 years and currently hold a position as a patient registration specialist /financial counselor at the local hospital after working for a local internist as a medical assistant for 13 years. I also earned my certified nursing certificate in 2004 . I have worked in convalescent homes, doctors offices as well as private homes. I am a very compassionate person and is sensitive to each individual needs. I am very organized , trustworthy and responsible and have excellent references. I can do light house work, yard work and errands as necessary. Since I am a mother of 3 boys , I have a sense of humor and thick skin when needed.
