Caregiving is a very personal job, still I find ways to incorporate love, humor, cheerfulness, fun, hope, trust and optimism into my care. I look forward to building a close relationship with my clients as well as their family. I love that I get the opportunity to listen and learn about thier lives as it allows me to live vicariously through their many adventures, life accomplishments and travels. I find capturing their legacy most fascinating...respecting their dignity. Lastly and most importantly, meeting them when/where they need it most in their life's journey... be it a speedy recovery or their final chapter in the book of life.

I began my caregiven duties, with my mother back in 2014, she got sick and I began caregiving for her until she died in 2018, I began caregiving for my grandmother who passed away in 2019 it was a very rough ride for me, I learned a lot especially from my grandmother who was an RN before her passing. I knew then I had a heart for the work and I continue to do caregiving. My specialties are working with the Elders. I do have experience working with the hospice patience.

Since I was a child, I've loved helping other people. I enjoy working with people of all ages and circumstances. What excites me most about this position is the opportunity to help those with disabilities live happier, healthier lives. I think helping other people affects the local community positively, so I'd feel honored to accept such a vital role. I'm interested in being a caregiver because I'd like to increase the amount of care the elderly population receives. As I learned through my previous health care experience, this population often benefits from caregivers who provide companionship and who pay attention to detail. This can help improve the daily lives of this population. I'd love to be a part of that effort through this position and help improve the kind of care this group receives

I am 24 years old learning how health is important and how we as CNA's can make a difference to patients and loved ones by providing a sense of security to those who may be going through a difficult time. I'm a new CNA, and I'm also a mother and someone's daughter which means that my way of providing care has come naturally. I also care for those who are the most important to me and treat them with love and respect. Soon I'll be working as a CNA and I have pledged to provide care, equality and love in the way which I would want my grandparents to be cared for. For example, being listened to, given warm culture meals and also not feeling like they're alone. I would never want an old human being to feel like no one is listening to them and I also would never want an old person to feel like no one loves them. I enjoy working with people and most enjoy jobs where you have one-on-one interaction with others. I have a passion for caring for others.
