I am a very caring person I raised 3 wonderful children adults now . I work in a care home now I work wirh 6 persons with different disabilities . I love that I can make a difference in their life cause I am there to care for their needs . I have a lot of patience. what makes me a great care giver is that I have a lot of patience and love for the person I take care of and my personality well sometimes shy but in a good nice way and a good listener for who need to tell me anything they like. .

I have been in the field. For more than 25 years, I have been very successful in providing care for individuals according to each clients needs. I pride myself on the fact that I got one particular client who wasn't willing to participate in any exercise and was wheelchair bound to not only participate, but eventually began walking. I am extremely proud to say I absolutely adore working with seniors, I've been doing it for a long time. I love being in the company of them. I absolutely admire the stories and the way they did things.

I started caregiving as a part of my nursing studies. From there I realized I love working with the elderly and reminded me of working with my Great Grandfather who had Dementia. I make it my goal to provide calming and safe care for all my clients.

I love being a caregiver cause I like to help other people and treat them with respect just like my own family. I am also a very need and clean person. I am always on time and do my job very serious. I follow directions very well and I will go extra miles to get my job done. I can do bathing, dressing, transfer/mobility, prepare meals, house keeping, laundry, medications, grooming, toileting, companionship, appointments, grocery shopping and whatever it requires for the job. I will have a log book to write down any activities the client is doing like keep track of their daily routines. Also I do their vitals, weight if require. My greatest accomplishment being as a caregiver, i work hard and am proud that my dedication to leadership coursework paid off. Knowing their family appreciates my help, kindness and entrust when i leave with their precious ones. Telling me and thanking me that i did a great job. My job includes preparing meals, laundry, light housekeeping, medication, bathing, dessing, grooming and feeding.
