I became a caregiver because my mom is sick since 2011 I have always help and took care of my mother but I wasn't getting paided for it ! I am a very caring person I raised 3 wonderful children adults now . I work in a care home now I work wirh 6 persons with different disabilities . I love that I can make a difference in their life cause I am there to care for their needs . I have a lot of patience. what makes me a great care giver is that I have a lot of patience and love for the person I take care of and my personality well sometimes shy but in a good nice way and a good listener for who need to tell me anything they like. .

I will have a log book to write down any activities the client is doing like keep track of their daily routines. Also I do their vitals, weight if require. I owned my own car and a valid CA driver's license and full insurance coverage. I am up to date with my vaccines as well as Covid-19 vaccines. I am a US Citizen. I have been a caregiver for about 2 years...1 year with my mom and 1 year in home. I've always felt like a caregiver when I was a kid because I helped take care of my great grand mom who had Alzheimer's. I enjoy being with the client and able to help them with what they need. A personal achievement I am proud of is getting my medical assistant license at an early age.

I have been in the field. For more than 25 years, I have been very successful in providing care for individuals according to each clients needs. I pride myself on the fact that I got one particular client who wasn't willing to participate in any exercise and was wheelchair bound to not only participate, but eventually began walking. I am extremely proud to say I absolutely adore working with seniors, I've been doing it for a long time. I love being in the company of them. I absolutely admire the stories and the way they did things.

I have over 3 years of culinary experience, I have 3 years of experience with Alzheimer's and dementia. I've been doing care giving for approximately 5 years off and on. I'm a astounding listener, I'm very punctual, attentive and great with time management. I got into caregiving after my grandpa tried to get a tumor removed from his brain and he began to get Alzheimer's and dementia, I grew up under him so helping him made me realize I love to make sure our elders/grandparents are actually taken care of by someone who cares. This is NOT just a job for me, I only say that because our clients depend on us drastically and in my opinion their lives/health is worth more than a job title. I'm here because I do actually care, I consider myself extended family to my clients, I love to stay in touch with the family as well to keep them updated daily.
