I became a cna in 1997 and continued my desired position for 12 yrs ranging from convalescent homes to Lindsay and Sierra hospitals then my last employer was private in home that's where I realized I was my happiest, the friendship and bond you create is so much more then just helping someone out and going on your way, I bonded and made a friend along the way which was good for all parties involved. I have been a stay at home mom and wife for the past 2-3 yrs now since I lost my friend due to the battle but I am eager to help another in need and possibly make a new friend.

I am a loving person with lots of room for growing and learning I have about 3/12 years experience What attracted me to being a caregiver is my dad was once in hospice and helping him and being there for him was something I did everyday and when he passed I was still in high school and by the time is was looking for a job it was something I wanted to continue doing and caring for others what I love the most is getting to know them and care for there needs and communicating talking about there pass some stories they might have.

I am very friendly, truthful, honest, and caring . I like to help the individual stay active so they do not lose the ability to do for themselves. I have worked in the medical field for many years. I have handled many different scenarios and situations so nothing surprises me to much. I am not judge mental and I enjoy helping the individual to feel good about their day and what they have accomplished. Positivity and Smiles go along way. No one is perfect However, I strive to be the best person I can be everyday. A personal achievement of mine was when I worked with an individual who was non verbal and he had a lot of behaviors and he could be very mean. I spoke to him and treated him like he was the same as everyone else. I cooked a special dinner for him and made it all homemade from scratch and he watched me make the whole meal. When I served him he looked at me took a bite then reached over and grabbed my arm gently and kissed my arm and he smiled so big. It took about a month to get that acceptance from him. When he finally accepted me it made me tear up. I felt so accomplished because this guy ran off so many Direct support Professionals. I felt as though I could do anything because of the wonderful feeling of gratitude and gratefulness that I received from that individual.

I am an outgoing person full of compassion and always willing to listen. Been working as a caregiver since 2005 and love what I do. I enjoy getting to know people and hearing stories of their lives. I am depednable and punctual and willing to go the extra mile.

As the eldest sibling, nurturing comes naturally to me. I have been in health care since college but it wasnt until a family member was in need of a care provider that I discovered my purpose in the medical field. Since then, I have continued my education for the last 10 years and in return have gained excellant skills in senior care, specialty care, palliative care, hospice/end of life care. My ability in providing superior care goes in hand with developing a strong relationship with my clients that know they can depend and trust the care and services I provide. My name is Moriah Gonzales and my brother was in an accident 6 years ago that left him paralyzed. My mother and father went to be with him and I stayed home and took over the mother role at 16. When he returned from rehab I took care of him while my parents worked. I love helping others and my personality is very upbeat and fun! I can truly say that with a job like this I love it, I get to come home at night knowing that I was able to help someone and be that little bit of sunshine in their day.

i have worked in an ARF level 4 home for the last 19+ years. i am COR/First Aid certified as well as DSP 1 and 2 certified. i love caring for people of all ages and different abilities. I am a natural caregiver i love it and want to continue to do so for the next 20+ years. as you can see i'm loyal to my job my greatest accomplishment is staying loyal to one employer for so many years.
