I started being a caregiver for my mom when she got sick and I just loved caring for her so when I started caring for other people I loved it even more because of the love the clients shows towards me and it lets me know I'm doing what is needed to be done I mostly love being a caregiver because of the love the clients show and helping people is a big plus for me I'm very honest reliable and trustworthy and hardworking

I'm a very energetic person I like to laugh & enjoy time outside. I love to read books I've had experience with dementia I love to be around my elders I'm 25 I've been in healthcare for about 4 years. I started helping others because I had to help my Grama & I love it. I have the ability to get a patient who people say is hard to deal with and work well with each other

I am always on my feet, I'm walkways wanting to help others and understand others just as much as I want others to do the same for me. I'm very open, I'm dedicated. Wanting to be a caregiver was unexpected for me, it was something that I felt like I could learn from until I wanted to be a CNA. The main thing I enjoy about caregiving is the ability to be present and being able to see and hear a store from a resident or someone who is bed bound, they tend to always have a story. Being able to help someone period just makes me happy. Personally I feel like I haven't achieved anything due to distraction in life. I always tend to work hard and can never make time for my life but I do have a list of things that WILL be achieved and I WILL be proud.

My Mother's breast cancer came back and she was terminal. She could no longer care for my disabled Father, so I stepped in to help with cleaning, meal prep, and Dr. appointments. I enjoyed getting to know my parents better until their passing. We had a lot of laughs and hard conversations as well. I became a CNA a year and a half into caring for my parents part time. I was a carpenter by trade and decided on a career change.I have taken care of other patients privately. In the five years that I have been a CNA, I have become quite an advocate for the disabled and enjoy searching for resources to their betterment. I am a married mother of two grown daughters. I enjoy the outdoors and the theater. I have compassion for people in general.. I love to hear their stories and share ideas and experiences of my own. I care for people the way I would want to be treated.

I enjoy being a part on improving someone's life who needs help with activities. I enjoyed building a strong relationship with the patient. It was a rewarding experience to know that my being there for her made such a difference in her morale. It gave her something to look forward to and i believe helped prolong her life. I am understanding, patient & caring. I will go the extra mile to make sure the patient is comfortable and happy.

The reason I became a caregiver is because I love taking care of elderly people and they put a smile on my face at the end of the day because I know I helped them get everything that they needed and wanted at the end of the day I can say may I help you with anything my paitents tell me yes Ill go to beyond for them just to keep a smile on there face
